Being a retired welder/ fabricator I think you did a hell of a job bud. Also I know how tough it must be to stop what your doing to reset the camera. Especially when your mind is thinking while your figuring your next steps. So awesome job man. Also I’d like to suggest trying stainless stick. Once you get it dialed in it looks better then tig in my opinion. As always WORK SAFE 😎😎🇺🇸🇺🇸

Nice job! If you did your battery box 379 Pete style with a lower step and say a 60 series hand rail that would draw attention away from what it is. I'm sure it'll look good however y'all do it.

A handrail would be nice to get up and over the dust shields.

Hey Jon, what's up this is K.O. had a blast with u guys couple weeks ago. Tell everyone I said hi especially Mr. Renner, I think you call him Grandpa...lol. Those weight brackets from Lance fit perfectly. Talked with Jake last week need parts gotta do some horse trading. You gonna have that "Johndetroitfreighterpete" looking good....LMAO. Wasn't feeling that cover at first (love the look of the JD double stack weights) but by the end of this vid that cover is gonna look good. Keep up the good work!

Good to hear from you and I’m glad those brackets worked out! I agree, I think the stainless cover will look great.

Looks like everything is moving forward nicely. Wise of you to choose certain tasks that are obtainable before the show. I wish Jake would take one of the International tractors, they look so neat. I do approve of the measuring system to space the welds. True Mcgyvery!

Some rads that have more fins put in have more trouble because they plug so easily.
@RennerStockFarms3 жыл бұрын
That's a good point. The other 5020 repower we restored has 11 fins per inch and hasn't plugged yet, but we don't really run it in any harsh conditions.

Drill in the plate to frame rails in spots and make button welds.
@tannerfamilyfarms34503 жыл бұрын
Amazing work. Just a detail guy. I am. Its 5 1/2 inches on one end and 7 in on the other end. Not other side. Frame rail tapers. I know you capped it for looks. But I, would. Of dimple died it and welded in the circles for the strength.
