What a sweet memory for that mother to go out of her way to pick up that elephant fabric. More people than others are aware of have issues with strong scents, chemicals and dust. People look at me like I’ve lost my mind when I back away from them because they are wearing clothes washed with strong, smelling detergents and fabric softeners. I can only imagine what their poor pets think. I use products that don’t have a smell, and I do struggle to go to quilt guild, because so many people wear clothing that is overloaded with fragrances. I understand very much what a big deal it was for that woman to go into a store and buy that fabric. And you did a great job matching the fabrics!

I just mailed a quick infant quilt for my neice who is expecting a baby girl - the first girl in the family after 14 years - followed by 10 boys. Now I have time to make a bigger quilt for baby with the fabric left over from the wedding quilt I made for my niece!

I loved the wedding fabric quilt (I loved them all). I gravitate toward the low volume colors mostly because I'm older and in the area where I live that was the traditional look for a quilt. Another home run video Fran!

On the #2 quilt(Beth's) I would switch #2 &#3 fabric I think the lavender would be prettier next to the floral. But that's just me. Love them all!
