Theres no point in even mentioning isak considering the Newcastle board have gone on record saying it would take a offer north of 150 million just to get them to the table over alaxanda isak, and no club at this moment in time are paying even close to that for any player. Sterling is on loan, so we would need to get rid of either Trossard or Martinelli to bring in a new top class winger (which I’m 100% for). Jorginho is perfect for what we require of him. He’s rarely called upon, but when he is, he’s solid enough. And the locker room benefits he brings are irreplaceable. I do think Gyokeres would be perfect for us. I love Jesus, but it’s time to move on.

Sésko is a good striker but the perfect person for Mikel arteta style of play is no other than Isak, he is so good on the ball and also clinical, he just play like legendary Thierry Henry. He is so perfect, can play from the wings.

Sesko would be cheaper, can develop more, is very clinical(at least according to my eye test (Immediately striking balls on target despite not facing the goal before shooting)) and be a massive aerial threat in offensive set pieces with options to use him defensively. Besides, it's not like he lacks pace. Don't get me wrong, I'd still be fine with Isak if we get him for under £100mil.

Won’t be too fussed to see Partey go (if we bring in a first team worthy replacement). His injury record is too detrimental to us and yes he’s a decent playing, currently in a purple patch, but that shouldn’t mean we extend the contract - we’ve been stung like this too many times. Jorginho brings so much value in the dressing room and he’s more than solid enough when called upon - which is rarely. Players of that experience and level, willing to only ply a handful of games a season, are INCREDIBLY rare. I’m completely for trying to upgrade the team every year tho, and I don’t really mind who goes as long as we’re bringing in top talent. A top class forward should be number 1 priority tho. That would mean 1 (or 2) of either Trossard, Martinelli or Jesus needs to move on. Imo the 2 later are the most expendable.
