If I had ever seen Ms. Ronstadt live, this is the venue I would've chosen to experience her beauty and talent. Mr. Newman is as "eclectic" as Ms. Ronstadt. As I type, a CD of his musical "Faust" is on its way; just saw the film "Marriage Story" and saw his name roll by on the credits as writing the score.

Linda is nowadays kind of "frozen", she was one of the first ones to protest against the Irak war and she did it at a Vegas casino that happen to be "government friendly".It was a gutsy move, she was expelled from the casino and ever since she has worked less and less, eventually everybody will know that she was right to say what she had said.Long live Linda Ronstadt.

Linda Ronstadt and Randy Newman are about my two favorite musicians ever. When I went away to college in 1972, everybody was playing "Sail Away" where I mistakenly place this song. It's actually from "Little Criminals" in 1977. Another great album, Linda was always just wonderfully generous with the people she worked with. Pipes for the ages, too. This song is like a perfect little poem. I love these people.

If they have figured out a way to avoid the aging process god bless them. Linda Ronstadt has been one of the most soulful contributors to American music whose songs I've love since Different Drum, a Michael Nesmith tune I think you can hear him singing in this venue. This was a good recording and video she looked stunning in that strapless drass. I like her later recordings of standards. This one is a gem, and the keys are as you'd expect - just right.
