And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how it's done. Three of the greatest voices EVER, being backed up by some world-class musicians. Can't ask for much more. I was so glad that Carson gave them the chance to do three songs so each of them could take the lead on one song. I miss him. Those who THINK they are taking his place are just extremely poor pretenders.

Dolly & Emmylou went to Country Music Hall of Fame in 1999 & 2000 respectively. CMHF needs to induct Linda while we can all celebrate with and for her. She earned it both musically and by promoting & bringing many more fans to the genre. It would also put the TRIO in a permanent place of honor. Come on Nashville, it's the right thing to do!

8:27 Watch Linda, her right hand and the microphone. She does this in all live shows on video out there. She is every so subtly moving the mic up down left and right to perfectly position it for the vocal at that time. 1/8th inch here, 1/4 inch there. Few singers have ever done this. A true master of her craft.

I bought the Trio album on CD back in the 80s, I remember driving from Indiana to New York City listening to it all the way and all the way home, it was the most incredible album I had ever heard. It was like the angels from Heaven came down to sing to us about how wonderful Paradise is. It is one of those albums that you always know you have, it is NEVER forgotten. The best memory was...I can still remember the feeling hearing for the first time, it was music that flowed into me and danced with my heart and soul. Mr Lindsay, indeed. Hidden by Dolly hair. All those instrument dudes are tremendous, accomplished musicians.

Have always loved this album and now to see the superb musicians collaborating with them -gorgeous music! The fiddle player is outstanding and every one of the musicians so musical.

Such harmony! That’s how it’s done. The musicians perfectly accompany and complement these three superstars’ voices.

Love hearing these three sing together but I've always had trouble hearing Linda's harmonies because she held back. Really enjoyed the third song best because Linda got to use her full voice throughout and got to sing a solo part as well. I can still hear the other two distinctly in this song but got to hear Linda all the way through and I got to experience heaven for a moment.

Disagree. I actually think Linda's vocals were distinct on the harmonies on the album because she is singing in the softer lower register most of the time except for perhaps one song. The other 2 are singing louder but on top of each other in the higher pitch.
