Don't throw away that bacon grease--it is liquid gold! I love the AF because it collects it all so nicely and you can just pour it into a jar, then cover and refrigerate. It adds so much flavor to corn chowder, beans, and so many other things. You only need a little bit.

I love Bacon but I barley make it anymore because whatever I use to clean the oil with, I end up having to throw out because I can't use it for anything else afterwards, or it just gonna continue to smear grease everywhere. Anyone got any tips for the single male?
@kjmav10135 Жыл бұрын
Little late to the party here, but this is what I do. If I have an empty can (like a soup can or a bean can), before it hardens, drain the grease into the can, let it harden and throw it away. Then, blot up as much as you can with a paper towel. If you don’t have a can, you let the grease harden, scoop it up with a wad of paper towel and throw it away. The best grease cutting agent for any kitchen grease is plain old white vinegar. Yes, it smells like vinegar (of course) but the smell dissipates in a few minutes. Depending on the greasy mess, after wiping out as much grease as I can, I either pour vinegar, undiluted, on a paper towel (for super-greasy) and then wipe, or I dilute with water 1/2 and 1/2 and pour it in the air fryer tray thing to the level of guck. After doing the vinegar degrease, I wash the thing with dish soap or stick it in the dishwasher as usual.

Kosher salt is refined chemical salt, why do people produce it and use it?? Refined salt is bad for people's health and everybody is supposed to be eating unrefined natural salt!!! I wish the universe would COMPLETELY STOP producing refined chemical salt forevermore. They should make ONLY unrefined natural salt as everybody is supposed to be using this healthy version of salt (according to all healthy eating books I have read!!). I have stopped eating the foods that others prepare precisely because people are choosing to put mainly unhealthy, low quality ingredients in most preprepared foods about. They are all made with refined salt and sugar and they have been causing all manner of health problem!!! I am cooking almost ALL my own meals this year with unrefined natural versions only.
@piotrpiotrowski29663 ай бұрын
Whenever you make chocolate desserts and you need to mix cocoa with flour you should always use wholemeal flour ( or other healthy flour) instead of refined white wheat flour. It is brown and nobody will be able to tell the difference and it will be far better for everybody's health!!! It would be good if cooks/chefs bothered to encourage people to use HEALTHY flours instead of unhealthy flours in all their recipes and books. It would encourage everybody to eat in a healthier manner. Do they make unrefined natural powdered sugar??? I am NOT using refined white sugar EVER again as it is BAD for everybody's health. I am trying to ban it from my kitchen ( and the entire universe!!!).

I coated the salmon with the ingredients, then cooked it in the air fryer. It came out DELICIOUS, and the skin didn’t stick to the foil. It was crispy and edible, along with the salmon! LOVE this recipe!!! (By the way, I had to cook two separate pieces, which I cut to fit the air fryer.
