I always feel like adding a pop of colour when I need to lift my mood, and makeup is a great way of doing that. I've been under the weather for a few weeks now, not helped by the rain we are experiencing in the UK, so I decicded a pick me up makeup is what I needed.

You would never know that you're under the weather, Caroline! Even before this fabulously uplifting make up. The trouble with Easter being so early is that everyone is in a hurry for warmer weather, as you said, but while we're waiting in the UK, we can definitely use make up to at least feel like we're out of Winter when we look in the mirror. I've never seen any of your content before (I do apologise) but have recent discovered Sam Chapman of KZbin and I think the algorithm thought that I might enjoy you too! Caroline, I've learnt soooo much about applying make-up from watching this video. I love make up. I love the application, exploring textures and combinations but I'm not always sure that I make the most of the products or my face! Haha! Yes, I was making that face at the mushroom drawing! Still not sure about the colour for me but I was so impressed at how well it blended though and it looks really smooth in place. To be completely honest I was also making a face at the blush when you first showed it to camera - but I love, love, love the colour when it went on. ❤😂❤

I got the 100 day cough last Nov. Was just getting towards the end of it mid-Jan and caught another cold/cough from my son. The combo was awful. I ended up on steroids and antibiotics. I'm now again at the end of that cough. Am hoping as we are nearing better weather that I won't get anything else. The 100 day cough is no joke! Hope you feel better soon. Emma x

These are your colors Caroline and hello. 😊 I have this Fenty lip color and I can’t recommend it enough! It looks so beautiful with navy blue, light blues like your blouse today and really zings the color of black. Like you’ve shown here today it’s a great color for lips or cheeks. When I wear this I go lighter with my eye shadow like you’ve done here too, it’s all about the lips with this color. It’s a winner! I hope you feel better soon. Oh yes! Pre and post chiropractic makeup and skincare. All m make up is smudged after chiropractic treatment. So I just wore skincare and that coms off as well and I have to go to work after my treatment. So any advice as to pre and post skincare and makeup after seeing your chiropractor?????

After a night spent waking up from pain every two hours, this is exactly the mood lifter I needed :) My Mom always said that the worse you feel, the more dolled up you should get, because seeing those colors will lift your spirits when you really need it. So, ironically, you know I’m in a bad place when my lips turn fuschia :P

Caroline I have very dry skin and have discovered a very reasonably priced white foundation that adjusts to skin, a bit like Iberian but better coverage (Meroda). It's actually brilliant, even goes on smoothly under eyes and doesn't settle into my fine lines. Wondered if you could do a tutorial and see how best you would use it. Im 56 so have older menopausal skin.
