Thanks you all. I got the idea for redoing this one years back after we did a show with the Spinners and bill Pinckney and the Drifters. I just wanted to re write the horns and a few other parts so ours should not sound like any-other version. Little more layered guitars, electric plan. Bb

Great version. Better than Spinners(who turned it into a jazz flavored ballad, some songs don't work when slowed down). If anyone has the fantasic Wilson pickett original, please post it, it's a great version too.

@BeachMusicBum Well The Kays' version IS faithful to Wilson Pickett's original(?) Now, the Spinners were usually a great group, but they did this song as a ballad(slow song) and it just didn't work IMHO
