The wonderful thing about Casciana Terme, is that apart from the Terme, you are also surrounded by magnificent vineyards, forest, olive groves and are close to many other fabulous towns and villages! Most homes in the centre of Italian villages do not have garages, including my own. We rent a garage space from someone else but our car usually stays outside like most people. Quirky and beautiful. Very nice use of a narrow footprint. A little claustrophobic but then you should see the tiny NYC apartments I’ve lived in. I would need a bit more space for family and kids but would love to have the current owners help design the space.

It's probably a little tight for family living but it's a perfect use of the space they have and so beautifully restored. Local designers and architects are sensational at knowing what to do with the ancient stone homes and using the space wisely. I'm in the process of renovating a small studio apartment and we are thrilled with what is being achieved. 🥰🤗

Perfect location and uniquely styled. Obviously elderly/infirm owner(s) given lift and walk-in bath. Terrace is a great bonus. Lovely if you don't mind the compromises on usable living space. Great video. ♥️♥️

I'm so glad you like the location and unique qualities. They're not elderly, hence the quirky modern qualities but they forward planned for ease of living because of the 4 floors. Personally I don't feel there are any compromises as it has more living spaces than I have, between the large eat in kitchen diner, the cosy living area and the very usable rooftop terrace...plus 3 toilets! The only issue is the tiny shower in the huge bathroom. But I guess you could eliminate the tub and expand the shower.

The shower is actually a decent size for Italian standards. It’s at least 90cm square so that’s a good average size shower. However, it’s a very large bathroom so the option to make alterations is definitely available. It will just depend on the buyer. Thank you so much for watching! 🤗🇮🇹♥️

Hi Magnolia! I replied to your other comment under Celia’s comment but that’s fine! It’s an amazing home but like most internal village homes, there is no garage. We have no garage but have rented a small space for our little Ape and leave our car in the street like most people. You will find plenty of street parking in the streets behind the piazza or you can also look further a rental garage. The local agent might be able assist with that. Beautiful, though a bit of a rabbit warren. I suspect I would hand joined several rooms to create more open spaces. The choice of odd deco -inspired design, small black tiles, and other modernistic bespoke touches are not up my alley at all -nor are the light, bleached out woodwork. After purchase I’d still be looking at 20 thousand in redos
