I made this mask as my first sewing project. It's a very nice fitted mask for me. I still need to learn how to sew in curves, but it still turned out really nice... Thank you so much! However, this mask is way too small for my husband, but because you showed how the pattern is drawn, my next project is to make a larger one for him!

Hello! Thanks for sharing this tutorial. I downloaded the adult and teen pattern and noticed some of the measurements are off by 1/2 cm. Maybe my ruler is off or the image shrunk during the scan? If so, should I trace the picture or should use the measurements and draw my own pattern?

The simplest mask for a child is to use a small soup or cereal bowl to create a round pattern. Place the bowl face down on 8 1/2 by 11” paper and trace a round the bowl. You will get a perfect circle. Fold the circle in half and then fold in half again. Cut the circle into four pieces on the fold lines. Now you have the perfect pattern for a child’s mask. Sorry to say I cannot take credit for this beautiful and simple mask. Thank you to the creator for her sharing with everyone. I found it on the internet. You will also learn to make a filter.
