At one time parasites were eating my menstrual cups! I knew of some of the remedies you shared but I haven't been consistent. God bless you for sharing your knowledge and experience.

They seem to build up resistance to man made chemicals and become more problematic, like the super lice created from using rid all those years and they became resistant to it. But they’re susceptible to tea tree oil. Thanks for all this information. You’re helping so many people when drs really don’t know what to do.

Thank you for taking the time to help people with this nasty ailment. I am almost recovered. I just wanted to point out to you that throughout this video there are orbs flying around. I didn't believe in orbs until I saw my cat watch them fly around on a video I made of her. It is a good sign. 🧡 I hope you don't think I'm crazy, but then again my family already thinks that because of these mites lol.

I recently discovered that I have demodex after a visit to my derm. For months, the acne on my skin kept spreading, more blood veins appeared on my cheeks, 😭. And at night, i feel itchy on my face too. I feel so gross of myself. Doctor said I should stop all the sugary, spicy and fattening animal based food. So lucky to have found your videos. Will try to use ur recommendations and really restart a new healthier life style.

Hi Cherrie, yes I believe Acne, Rosacea and Demodex are all connected.. but the medications that Doctors/Dermatologists don’t seem to help us! :( I’m my experience, the natural remedies have helped and pretty much cured my demodex. Definitely agree about the diet overhaul- you don’t have to do it forever, but while your trying to detox the mites from your skin- stick to a really “clean” diet for a few months. Good luck.! 💕

You didn't have to do that with the eggs. You just needed to kill the bugs a few times daily until the eggs had hatched and there were no more bugs left to lay them. Same principle as lice.

Hello Katie! Thanks for all of your videos! I am anxiously awaiting one to instruct how to clean up the house. I have suffered with these bugs on and off since 2014. I didn't know what they were until just recently. While there are tons of websites and KZbin videos about the basics of Demodex mites, there is absolutely nothing on how to actually function day to day in your home while suffering with a flare up. I have struggled with Demodex in my hair, nose, ears, eyes, mouth and just about every other orifice on my body. When I'm experiencing an attack, I call them blooms, I leave a trail of Demodex mites all over the house and on every single thing I touch. I have taken to covering up head to toe, wearing gloves always & keep my hair hidden under a bandana at times. I literally look like I am taking chemotherapy. It's so bad, that when I just have to go out in public and someone asks if I have cancer...I simply say yes. It's easier than trying to explain the reality im living with. So, I have a couple of tricks to make life a tiny bit easier for my home, but definitely would appreciate any kind of home hacks to keep the Demodex mites from taking over my house. Oh, and FYI, I'm pretty sure my contamination vector has been my precious dog. Unfortunately, I could never get rid of her as she has been with me since birth and at times been my only support when I was sick. I most likely will never have another pet after she dies though. I would not wish suffering with Demodex infestation on my worst enemy. Once again, thank you for your channel! Nay

for your home, office car-get any miticide or flea killing pesticide, add insect growth regulator to it, spray it, do not mop or clean any surface for 7-10 days after, then steam clean then after some time get another type of pesticide and igr, spray this new combination, then after another 7-10 days, steam clean with a steam mop to get the eggs, larvae. Rotate the pesticides to prevent resistance buildup. for the skin, mix together one quart of 91% isopropyl alcohol with one quart of water, if you like you can add some aspirin tablets to this mixture to add the salicylic acid to make this stronger, first dissolve the aspirin completely in alcohol, after that add the water, this makes a very strong mixture and this will kills mites if you soak a dishcloth with this mixture and then rub on your skin, you will perhaps have to wear gloves when you rub on your affected skin. it will feel warm and sting a bit, this mixture is used to kill spider mites in gardens. The soaking for 45 minutes in a bathtub after adding a cup of magnesium chloride salt flakes to lukewarm water will pull out the mites embedded in the skin, you can also try Katie's other option of baking soda, borax and pink Himalayan salt. To kill the mites on your pet, the option is using mange killing lime-sulfur mixture sold for dogs, you may also benefit from it. Each of the methods will take time, you will perhaps need to stock up on the isopropyl alcohol, expect a few weeks to even a few months to get things under control and finally complete recovery of health.

Well, I got kind of desperate because of the itchiness all over and the crawling feeling, after putting the borax/peroxide/water on. It didn’t seem to be helping as much today so I figured I would try straight 3% peroxide...wellll....the pinprick stabbing burning was a bit excessive but it definitely highlights where they are under my scalp. Nothing is really visible, no obvious mites crawling around. That’s why everyone said it was hormones etc. But you can see the shapes at the ends of trails that are obvious mites. So, 3 applications of peroxide just to keep them coming and now the castor oil mixed with stuff to keep pulling. Bless you for sharing this! Thank you so much. My son is pretty horrified because I look normal, and then with the peroxide he just said that it looks like they are everywhere...exactly! Now he is going to do it too, finally. Because they can’t see them on their scalp either, but the trails are there and the hair loss.

Hi Katie, I have a question and a suggestion regarding all the remedies that you are sharing with us. 1st. question: Do you have a link of all the recipes that you created from your own experiences. with measurements product names and what it is used for. IF YES you have all that written dawn where can I find it All ? please guid me to it. BECAUSE Trying to fallow you with all the instruction, I find myself asking what did Katie use this for unfortunately I do forget.Trying to write as I watch your video, stoping and going back and forth it get's overwhelming. 2nd. My Suggestion would be if I may, could you have a link with All your Recipes & how to's Like I wrote up above my request. The name of the problem: The list of the product names that's needed in that recipe with measurements and How to mix it all with a good instruction. LIKE you make a cake you need a full recipe to successfully bake the cake and see the result. Kind of the same formula. Hope this is not a lot I'm asking for. Annie

Found your site three days ago. I had charcoal peppermint toothpaste and pieces of charcoal from my fireplace. I ground up the charcoal in mortar and pestle. (Not a fine powder, but good enough) And added 1/3 powder to 2/3 toothpaste. IT WORKED!!!! Cheap, and more effective than costly, dangerous drugs/chemicals. Hope this helps others. Hi Shea, I didn’t really use moisturiser that much- as you need to dry out your skin so the mites have no food source (sebum oil from your pores). But when my skin was soo dry it was painful, I would use Sukin brand, or Thursday Plantation brand (this contains tea tree) Also used Virgin Cold-pressed coconut oil (the one you use for cooking) as I read this also suffocates the mites. Thankyou for the continued support.!

I have recently been diagnosed with dermadex mites which live in your hair follicles. Everybody has them and rarely cause problems but for some people they have an overgrowth of them which can also cause roseaca which I also have. I have been prescribed metronidazole gel for face which treats mites and roseaca. Also prescribed doxycycline antibiotics one daily for 8 weeks. Invisible to the naked eye. They come out at night on your face mate then go back and lay their eggs in your hair follicles.thats why your skin is itchy at night. Sounds gross but causes no problems unless you have a big infestation. Their is no cure for roseaca but it's treatable but can make dermodex face mites worse and vice versa.

Hey Lisa, don’t give up.!!! You can get well again- I’m proof of that! I’m not sure I would put the charcoal powder in my hair as it might darken your hair colour.. I would use salt first of all.. Lay in a salt bath with your hair under the water for ages- 45mins to 1 hour.. If you don’t have a bath, make a salt solution and spray your hair really thickly with it and leave it in. Also check out my video on “Hair Remedies to Eradicate Mites” there are things like Apple Cidar Vinegar, Diatomaceous Earth and Listerine remedies you can do for your hair. Stay strong and you’ll get through this.! 💪❤️
