This show brings back a lot of memories and scrolling through I stopped to watch this video because I didn’t know about the passing of Ron Ely. Thank you for sharing this and RIP Ron.

The championship round was always fascinating and exciting to me. I usually click right to that every time I see a FTM upload. There's always something about that theme song and end-of-game live music cue that made the show stand out. Admittedly, I had a hard time watching the main games, but that final round was always compelling. Thanks for uploading.

2:45-3:00 Ann also appeared on “Press Your Luck” and painfully lost $10,700 to the Whammy in early 1984. Her clip was featured in the show’s intros, I think.

Ann was one of my favorite PYL contestants. I thought she was going to win but the Whammy came at the wrong time.

is this analog or analog cable recorded i had staticy reception like this on PBS back in 1988 for the whole year, but yes i do miss analog tv rabbit ears reception was always my favorite and i always loved great gameshows too this looks like a lot of fun they did not show these awesome episodes up here in Washington State at all, but good to find these now thank you m8 for the upload, and wow i remember watching every single episode of James A. Michener's Centennial ever one of them on KCPW 13, what awesome memories, and i know that style of music sounds like they are actually playing a Seeburg 16 speed record those extremely long records on their own unique record players used in shopping malls and ahve a several of them lined up ready at the go or recorded tapes of the same format my mom had one of those and every record id listen for hours at times too,

We had cable, so it wasn't rabbit ears. However, I can't imagine the cable channel not coming in. I also never saw a VHS tape look like that. I wish I knew the reason, I can only guess.

@@MrSherman51 oh the cable in Gorst was that bad they kept saying technical difficulties but boy it was staticy sounding very lispy and like the screen here i liked it but everyone else didn't they finally fixed it in 1990, it was before they all used fibre optics it was the ole fashioned analog cable wiring systems they claimed they used fiber optics but that was a lie just to charge more we just went back to rabbit ears much better and for free.

Almost six months ago, Queen Elizabeth II died, I did not know that her face was on that game show Face the Music at the 27:44 mark and almost two months ago, super sexy, gorgeous actress Raquel Welch died and I did not know that her face was on Face the Music either at the 4:30:16 mark, excellent Fave the Music episodes!!

When FAM aired Face the Music in 1995, they skipped over some episodes

I wonder if they actually had them, or just didn't air them. I enjoyed the show when I was young. I'm glad I taped a few episodes in mid-90s.
