FACE TO FACE WITH MARTIN MYAKA

19:00 I appreciate the shout out, yeah I made a us version for Myaka of a flag I made for 10v that was a black Union Jack with ‘black flag militia’ written across it, I created it as a concept of a background set design for shows. I was inspired by the artist Corbin Shaw’s flag work and combined that with the themes of Black Flag by Fimi at the time. He made his own embroidered cut and sew version from that idea. Which was sick as I had wanted to originally and still do want to do a cut and sew with embroidery version, like the one he made so that was cool to see. I just couldn’t cos of cost and lack of connections to manufactures.
