Hmmm... the lack of Genesis 8 support is a bit baffling. It's still extremely popular and has a huge catalogue of content... And the results are okay, but why not add the option to use multiple angles of a face to get the correct shaping? While one image is impressive, adding additional pictures may improve the results drastically.

This product has vanished from Daz, yea I would agree 100% w G8 and wonder why it would even cost money to test out a beta version of a product. Usually it works the other way around, a beta tester is paid or given a free copy for providing a developer useful feedback, I never seen any developer asking you to buy a beta version to help them fix the bugs!

I think G9 is better I just have more clothing options for G8.

You're correct, I love how accurate G9 is and all, but, G8 and G8.1 has an outstanding massive support and mods, not even anthro figures are as great as they are for G8 ones, are just re-texturized base models with a different head and nails that's it. The support of multiple angles would be a huge improve indeed, maybe FT3, who knows. Hope devs learn about our comments, since in their website they don't support voting nor comments for their shop products.

it's not baffling when you realize Daz wants to milk every dollar from it's users, which means pushing everyone toward G9 products. They want to make it as difficult as possible to still enjoy G8.

From what I've seen in the videos so far, the result is neither better nor worse than in Face Transfer 1. With a new version of Face Transfer, I would have liked to see an more expanded feature set. For example: the possibility of using profile photos or several photos with different facial expressions to give the GENs more life. I'm excited to see what the community writes about it in the next days and weeks.

I really like it from the first version, however I expected it now to load more than a single front view ref photo, for better accuracy, maybe with a checkbox that you can check to load more refs for improved accuracy (it often fails with noses). Also, to still use G8/8.1 since those are the most popular ones still. But, also a question, does it perhaps take in account some of the neck, shoulders or chest proportion to get a more accurate body shape for the faces you load in it? Keep it up.

Even with a good front image with good lighting and good quality I still get it. Face transfer failed to generate. Is there software of the same style that works?

I'd be tempted to use it if I could also load in left and right profile shots for better accuracy.

could we get better advice on installing the actual face transfer 2. a lot of us purchased the plugin, are all up to date on the software, and none of us are able to use the code, nor find the face transfer 2 option in the about plugins tab. nor will the software accept the code. pls.

The given link brings me to the Daz3d shop page for Face Transfer 2, and the text does indeed say that by purchasing this product, I will get the "trial version" with the 3-characters-without-watermarks limit. For $35. The examples given in the video aren't very conclusive, and I would like to see what this software is capable of before buying. I wouldn't mind having them watermarked, if I could just do some tests to see if it can get the results I want. But a "trial" version should be that... something for a potential customer to try before deciding. As I understand it now... I am buying the product already, before it is fully released. A payed beta test, which even limits the user. If there is a real trial version available, I would be more than happy to test it, and buy the release version if it suits my needs. But as I understand it for now... I'm not paying full price for a beta test.

I want to buy Face Transfer 2 to use for my 14" MacBook (M1). Will I have any functionality with it now? When are you targeting the M1/M2 update? I assume I will be able to redownload it once it is updated or allowed to update in some way?

Is the second face transfer worth it, I have a fully licensed 1st version I got on the cheap it works great but has some issues now with gen 8 not picking up the correct colour shades for skin tones. I have created a character for gen 9 and it looks much better but i don't like how Males have what looks like eyeliner on which when I look at myself is disturbing on the model as I don't wear that crap in real life. Looking for a skin tone that will remove the eyeliner look.

I purchased face transfer 2 and I have the key product but in the plugins add window face transfer 2 doesn't show.... Only face transfer 1.... So I can't enter the key code. I have Daz Studio 4.22 installed

You will need to input your serial number found in your Daz account on our website. Make sure your Daz Studio is updated to the latest version as well, and be sure to check out DIM to confirm everything is installed and updated. This should make the plug-in pop up so you’re able to input your serial number key.
