I loved the way you explained it. I have a small question. Sometimes I see the campaign doesn't spend when I choose cost cap/bid cap even am setting a median cost per conversion. May I know what do I do in this case?
@markeko-diegorios19503 жыл бұрын
To be completely honest I would stick to automatic bidding as this usually tends to work best. If you are using bid cap and your budget is not being spent, increase it. I would suggest having at least 2x your conversion cost as bid cap to start and then reduce it over time once it starts getting results.

I would love to know more about manual bidding in different stages of the funnel i.e manual bidding for atc etc
@TheMustach34 жыл бұрын
Hi David! From my experience, you want to have higher bidding amounts as you get closer to your conversion. So top of your funnel should have lower manual bidding amounts than your bottom of your funnel. You should be willing to pay more or bid more for conversions that are closer to the final sale or action your are trying to acquire. Hope that makes sense!

Why sometimes the campaigns don't run or run slowly when we set with bidcap or others?
@markeko-diegorios19503 жыл бұрын
Because when you use bid cap, you are limiting how much budget or money you are giving to Facebook to enter the auction. Try using lower cost instead.

Hi! I was trying to put lowest cost as bid strategy but it tells me that I would get 0 conversions. It only lets me if I do a cost cap bidding.

Hi! Which type of campaign are you doing?
@juakojara114 жыл бұрын
Hello Diego! I have a question about Bid, i have an ecommerce store i have campaigns with lowest cost getting 100+ purchases between $5 and $10 per purchase. But when i try to bid cap or cost cap to $10, my ads are not getting enough impressions. Why is that? if im getting sales between $5 and $10 why my ads dont get delivered if i bid $10? What can i do ? Thanks
@markeko-diegorios19504 жыл бұрын
Hi Joaquin! It depends. A couple of questions: Are you using CBO? What is your budget? How many ad sets are you running? How many ads? It's usually an issue of not having enough budget in each ad set if you are using CBO. Allow at least $20 per ad set and make sure you are using daily budget for this to work properly and be able to scale budget.
@markeko-diegorios19504 жыл бұрын
I would also scale audiences and ads first and just duplicate the ad sets that are working if you are looking to scale budget before you go into adjusting cost cap or bid cap if you are having issues with spending more budget. Keep working campaigns stable, duplicate them and make adjustements.
@juakojara114 жыл бұрын
@@markeko-diegorios1950 Yes im using CBO, i put 500 usd daily budget, 5 adsets, and $20 min spend per adset. Bid Cap or Cost Cap in theory will drive me better results than lower cost?
@markeko-diegorios19504 жыл бұрын
@@juakojara11 Then your cost cap might be too low. Try using between 1.5x - 2x your $10 or use your max CPA and start there. That should give fb more space to get conversions and monitor it so that you adjust cost cap as it learns. A bid cap with $10 is probably also too low. Keep using lowest cost and start testing with higher cost caps first so that it starts spending money and adjust accordingly

@@markeko-diegorios1950 Ok Thanks you so much Diego

You are missing something in cost cap. Facebook might go above your cost cap ($8, in your example) if it got cheaper opportunities before. That's how it balances out to $8.
@markeko-diegorios19503 жыл бұрын
Hi Camilla! You are correct in that Facebook will only go above it it has had previously found cheaper conversions and can keep the $8 target or benchmark you set up as your cost cap.
