Yeah that whole crowd sounds like a bunch of nuts. I said in another post I feel for the girl who was killed but look at who she was associating with. I had a good friend who I lost touch with for 20 years because he was associating with thugs and drug dealers. It was so depressing watching him drift away from being a “normal” good dude to being involved in shady stuff with shady people. One of our other friends is in jail for life for murder. Thank God I was raised right and had the sense to just stay away from those types.

@@GooberGunkThe3rd-ik2tl you totally missed the point. The point is, why is this FB Gangster complaining about giving his mom a measly $100 and he works 80 hours a week. Usually people only work 8 hours a day 5 times a week which equals to 40 hours a week. This FB gangster works 80 hours a week which is crazy hours and he’s complaining over $100. Nothing has scared me more than waking up and wondering why my knuckles were scabbed up and then not remembering a thing from the evening before. I was a happy drunk that made people laugh until I wasn't and failed miserably trying to control it by quitting for the evening when my mind went to a dark place where someone could say hi Dave and I'd read into it too far. With help from those I physically and mentally hurt I was able to quit. I've beaten crack, heroin, alcohol but only after hurting a lot of people and could have never done it without help. From random people in the DC jail who helped me get into work release 34 years ago to my buddies who quit drinking liquor so as to not tempt me and put our friendship first I realize how lucky I am to have these people be a part of who I am today. Thanks.

Anthony did not throw away his life based on 1 bad decision. 1. He decided to get drunk, when he says he doesn’t drink often. 2 hanging around with a person he thinks is a bad liar and whatever else( he has nothing good to say about her) 3 going to house that he says he has no idea why they went there 4 being drunk and letting someone else make decisions for you. 5 deciding to have someone else make decisions for you and you decide to act. He decided to kick in a door after he knocked and saw there was people in the house, 6 so instead of waiting he kicked in the door of a house he did not recognize 7 after kicking in the door he decided to chase whomever he saw downstairs. 8 he decided to get into a verbal altercation and maybe a little physical with the person he chased downstairs, 9 he pulled a gun on a second individual to keep the person away 10 he decided that he needed to prove himself in some way, or scare the individual with the tattoos. 11 to prove himself a “tough guy” he decided to take a shot at a door. 12 when leaving the residence he said when he got back upstairs he shot twice more into the floor. 13 And his worst decision was made early in the night, he armed himself and then went drinking. So Anthony did not throw his life away on 1 decision. He made at the very least, probably 50 decisions if not more. His fault, hope he has fun in jail.

Underage drinking, drinking in general in abundance can turn anyone into an animal. Not saying he isn't a douche or anything but at 19 you dont know shit and drinking from the bottle like that, gonna be living with that for the rest of his life. All the carnage caused alcohol. You rarely hear a good story as a result of drinking an entire bottle to yourself, but you often hear the complete opposite.

True story: the last time I got blackout drunk (about 4 years ago now) it was from drinking just about a liter of Tullamore Dew. After I sobered up and was dealing with the hangover, I realized, oh crap, I definitely blacked out at one of my friends' place, so I called him to make sure we're still friends and apologize for anything I did that I don't remember, and he asks me, do you remember doing my dishes and cleaning the kitchen? I laughed, am like, that's hilarious, but seriously did I do anything? And he's all yup, you did all my dishes and cleaned up the kitchen....he added it was a mess and I told him I don't mind, just wanna help out... So over the next week I ran into to other witnesses, and it's true: I blacked out on whiskey and cleaned up my buddy's kitchen. Crazy...

It’s not an excuse it’s a reason and a statistic. It’s nurture vs nature and environment. Not everyone comes out of group homes or abusive situations like this, but far more than the general population. A blanket statement of “I didn’t turn out like that so nobody else should use it as an excuse” is exactly why we haven’t made progress as a society. It’s a mentality that doesn’t create less victims.
