මම ලංකාවේ degree එක කරලා දැන් USA ඉන්නේ. PhD එක කරලා මෙහෙ ඉන්න ඇමෙරිකන් උන්ට science and math effective විදිහට teach කරන්නේ කොහොම ද කියල research කරනවා. මෙහෙ උන් ගොඩක් math වලට කැමති නැහැ, ඒක වෙනස් කරන්න ඕනි, මොකද මෙහෙ තියෙන high level job කරන්න මුන්ට අමාරුයි, ඉතින් Indian කාරයෝ එනවා මේ job කරන්න. මට USA එන්න පුළුවන් වුනේ රජයේ campus එකක ගත්තු degree එක. එකේ කථා දෙකක් නැහැ, නමුත් හැමෝටම කරන්න බැහැ එකනේ "campus සිහිනය" කියල ලංකාවේ ළමයි කියන්නේ. මෙතන ගොඩක් දෙනා රජයේ campus ගිය අය. USA වල ළමයි campus යන්නේ ලංකාවේ OL වලටත් වඩා අඩු සුදුසුකම් වලින් එහෙම ගිහින් තමුන් කැමති field එක campus එකේදී තෝරාගෙන ඉගෙන ගන්නවා. සමහර වෙලාවට පට්ට මීටර නෙමේ නමුත් උනන්දුවක් තියෙනව නම් ඉදිරියට යන්න පුළුවන්. ඉතින් ගොඩ දෙනෙකුට හොද පිළිගැනීමක් තියෙන රජයේ campus එකකින් උපාධිය ගන්න පුළුවන්. සල්ලි තියෙන අය ගෙවන්න ඕනි, දුප්පත් අයට නොමිලේ. ලංකාවේ කරලා තියෙන්නේ රජයේ campus නොමිලේ ඉතින් ඉතා සීමිත පිරිසකට තමයි campus යන්න පුළුවන්. Z score එක වැඩිම නම් තමයි හොදම program සහ universities. ඉතින් අපේ ළමයි tuition වලට සල්ලි පුජා කරලා z score එක වැඩි කරගන්නවා. තනිකර past papers සහ model papers කරලා ගේම ගහන්න පුළුවන්. මම එහෙම ගහල campus ගිහින් තමයි, ඇත්තටම subject ඉගෙන ගත්තේ. මේ USA වල එහෙම නැහැ past papers පොත් නැහැ, ලංකාවේ math, bio කරන එකෙක් පේසුරු පොතෙන් ගණන් හදල තියෙනවා අනිවා. මේ USA වල එහෙම past papers කරන්නෙත් නැහැ, AL වගේ tough exam හිටන් නැහැ. ලංකාවේ ඉතින් හැමෝටම රජයේ campus යන්න බැරි නිසා, ඊට පස්සේ private campus වලට අපේ උන් සල්ලි පුජා කරනවා අයෙත්. ලංකාවේ රජයේ campus හැමදාම දුප්පත්,ඇයි රජයෙන් දෙන සල්ලි වලින් සහ පිටරට ආධාර වලින් තමයි හැම දෙයක්ම කරන්නේ! මේ USA වල රජයේ campus තමයි ගොඩක් පිළිගන්නේ. ගොඩක් ළමයි යන්නේ රජයේ campus අධ්‍යපනය ගොඩක් රජය අල්ල ගෙන ඉන්නේ. නමුත් හැම එකාටම නොමිලේ නැහැ. අපේ රට දියුණු කරන්න බැහැ, පිස්සු system තියෙන්නේ. පුළුවන් උන් රට යනවා, දුක එහෙම රට යන්නේ ගොඩක් හොදට ඉගෙන ගත්තු උන්, නමුත් ලංකාවේ එහෙම හොදට ඉගෙන ගන්න අවස්ථා හිටන් නැහැ. පට්ටම දුකයි ඔය විෂම චක්‍රය නිසා. උබල ඔන්න ඕව වෙනස් කරගන්න අරගල කරපල්ලා. නමුත් ඉතින් අපේ උන් island rank පිස්සුවෙන් නේ ඉන්නේ, ඉතින් වෙනස් කරන්නේ නැහැ ... 😁 P.S. මේ රටවල් දියුණු වෙන්නේ ඒ ඒ පුද්ගලයා අනුව අධ්‍යපනය customize කරලා ගොඩක් අවස්ථා ඇති කරලා තියෙන නිසා, අපේ රටවල් අනාථ වෙනෙන් හැම එකාවම එකම level එකකට දාල ඇගයීමකට ලක් කරන අධ්‍යපන ක්‍රමයක් තියෙන නිසා.
