Such a great video! I got myself this razor to do my own fringe. What's the difference and purpose between horseshoe parting to the triangular one? Thanks in advance!

If you use a horseshoe parting it will usually have more hair and can be a heavier bang that spreads out further into the sides, where triangular parting will concentrate the back more in the front center.

Hello! Thank you so much. What are the different feather razors you are using throughout?

In the black handle she is use the R-Type Blades (grey/green packaging). In the silver handle she is using the Standard Blades (orange packaging). The R-Type Blades stand for 'Rapid-Type' because it has 40% more blade exposure than the Standard Blades for rapid cuts. The R-Type Blades will cut off more hair and have less resistance. The 3rd blade (which was not used in this video but shown in the beginning) is the Texturizing Blades which has 25% less blade exposure than the Standard Blades. The blade guard pattern is different. It is best used for texturizing and adding volume but not removing as much hair. Good for fine or thin hair. Hi! My hairdresser cut it on dry hair. What is the difference please ?
@JataiFeather2 жыл бұрын
Difference between razor cutting on dry vs wet hair is that with wet hair the blade glides across the hair much easier and will cut a cleaner line. You can also get texture easier on wet hair. Dry hair tends to resist being cut with a razor and requires more tension. If you are cutting with a razor on dry hair the blade has to be new and super sharp or it may cause the hair to fray.
