Facebook market place, The right place to buy and sell?

Face book is the biggest marketplace for buying and selling cars but is it the right place? what should you be doing different?

Great job explaining how to buy and sell on Market Place. There are a lot of scammers out there too so that was good that you pointed that out just in case people didn't know. Hope the weather starts warming up a bit so you can start buying cars and trucks again.

Interesting video 👍 I’ve noticed a big jump in the don’t ask if it’s available to a whole new leave of if you ask if it’s available you’ll be blocked it’s just crazy the amount of sellers that are rude but good advice showing people how look at profiles is just something I try avoid seems I provide where how look them up if it’s something someone is looking to buy. I just caught this episode so cool to find another honest channel & keeping them honest 👍👍👍

Two things you stated but didn't stress enough was when buying, always show up with at least one person and preferably both carrying their 2nd amendment gear, like it or not you are going to their turf with cash on their person. Secondly, never have the buyer show up at your house, they may have zero interest in the car and may be scoping out easy targets, luckily my city's police department has plenty of space to trailer a car there and show to a buyer, yeah it makes for extra time and work but it also weeds out the criminal element, they aren't going near the police department.

I bought my first car from Autura because of your videos. I'm two hours south and went up to get it over the weekend. Had a couple major issues but it was a learning experience and I do plan on trying more auto flips. Thanks for the videos!

You can change the automated message default to whatever you like. Rather than, "Is this available?", you can change it to something like, "Hi. I am checking to see if you have a clear title in hand."

Great video. I've sold several cars on marketplace, and I dont negotiate on messenger just because the majority will make an offer then ghost you. And don't be the buyer who says things like "what's the least you'll take" or "the lowest you'll go?"

If you live a decent drive from the Vehicle . Theres Nothing wrong with asking that..

The problem with that would be, there are several people that will not negotiate online so on those vehicles you’re gonna miss out on. Every time someone asked me the price is automatically nonnegotiable. I simply wait for the next person in line that wants to come out and negotiate face-to-face with cash in hand.

Do you remember the old Trader paper....i used to look through that like i was reading every article in the news paper...miss those day of the trader but internet is easier on the eyes, then those super fine print ads

It is highly unlikely that it’s still there. And if it is still there, you do have to ask yourself why is it still there! Lol but I would message them anyway just to satisfy my curiosity.

i always check profiles whether i am selling or buying, over half are scammers that contact me. i report them to facebook but i have no idea if facebook does anything about em, and i block them after i report.

2k max on marketplace is gonna find you trouble and junk lol....there are alot of scams now a days...people have ruined craigslist and marketplace...plus everyone and their mother is a "dealer" now a days
