This sounded good when I saw this title but seeing how Facebook enforces how you run your business ie shipping times etc is a big red flag for me, Would rather build online shop through other mediums where I am in total control. BTW your video quality and presentation is awesome.

Hi Jennifer, I'm glad you found it interesting! Yes, from the sounds of it, Facebook has not yet rolled out all the features in many countries. Seems like there are limitation on certain accounts too. Currently, there is not much support online. Personally, I would wait till Facebook has updated Facebook Shops. Seems like they were in too much of a rush!

Hey Stewart ! Thanks for the video! Quick question....when you added the Mother/Daughter t-shirt, you also added a photo of the Father/Son . Then you saved it. But when you went to the shop as a customer, only the Mother/Daughter photo was showing. I am having this issue. I've uploaded five photos of an item, but only the lead image is showing once the item is added. This is not true for items I added last sometime last year. Is this a new thing with FB Shops/ how do I fix this? If you need to see what I mean, look at the Ocean Blue Dress versus the Champagne Layered Silk Dress. de volk & gosche of FB. Both have multiple photos, but the additional photos don't show up on the Ocean Blue Dress. Please help / Am I doing something wrong???

Also, I know you have to have a FB SHop in order to link the items to IG Shops, but I also have an Etsy shop. Is there a way to link an Etsy shop to IG or FB. Because right now I'm having to manage FB Shop, IG Shop, Etsy shop and my own website. Which is super time consuming, not to mention excess listing fees / commission fees.

Hi Zaroyana! Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, many people are have similar issues. Facebook is still working on updating shops and rolling out all the features. Depending on what country you will might still have issues trying to set this up. Yes you can link these together, however, not in a Facebook Shops layout and connection. Yes, I would just focus on one platform or website to manage your products. For us we just use Shopify for listing products and then connect this to social media and all other sale channels.

Hi Stewart, thanks for this. Do you also know how to convert a regular shop on a bizz page, into the new FB 'shops': Checkout Method still is: "Checkout on Another Website" when i look in settings. Great tutorial. I am in Canada and received an email invite to starting using the new Facebook shops. I have an existing FB page shop with an e-commerce store that I pay a monthly fee for. It seems with the new Facebook shops, an e-commerce store is no longer required as you can checkout directly from Facebook. Am I right? If so, would I just unlink my e-commerce store, cancel my e-commerce subscription and create my products manually in the Facebook shop?

Hi Peggy, Glad it was helpful! You are correct. This means your customers can buy directly through Facebook. Personally, I would keep your store and link your store with Facebook shops and then over time remove your ecommerce store if you are finding that the Facebook shop works for you.

Hi Kira, You are more than welcome! Are you the admin for the business page? Make sure your business manager is set up too. Honestly, I'm not too sure if Facebook have completely pushed out the essential features for 'Facebook shops' for all countries yet. Facebook has said this will roll out world wide in the coming weeks (a few weeks back). If this is not available in Australia yet... it should be within the next week I would say!

Great video! I just stumbled across that facebook helps small businesses like that. I sell art and my prices even varies. Don't know how exactly to fit that into the setting up...any tips? I live in Denmark and if I wanna be sure to have the product delivered to the customer within 7 days, won't I have to stay within Denmark just in case? Hi Taurus, Firstly, see if you have all the options available in your country for FB Shops. They do have limited shipping options. I would go through the process and see if FB shops is a good option for you. Otherwise just use FB shops to send customers to your website to purchase.
