The show really fell off after Shane died. It's still interesting, but I felt like the first two seasons (when Shane was alive) had immensely less filler and bullshit material. Jon Bernthal is a great actor, wish they could have kept him alive for longer -- maybe have done what they did with Morgan and don't reintroduce him as a major character until several seasons later.

Here I am 12 years later listening to this wonderful acoustic version. The first Indie Folk song I heard, when the trailer for the third season of TWD was released, I really liked the theme song by ''Karin Kimbel - Black'' and I started researching if the old seasons had theme songs. That’s how I discovered Wye Oak and this wonderful music.

Have to agree to disagree. Her voice is louder here - something that bums me out in the studio version, her voice is not heard enough - but they're either high as fuck as suggested before me, or she can't sing that well, (I think both) which I'm fine with. Hence my preference for the studio version. I have always liked singers who don't have amazing vocal ranges but charismatic voices, but one thing is to listen to their studio stuff and another is live stuff. And I wouldn't pay to watch a concert by any band or singer who is not amazing singing live. But I do enjoy this cover, nice and sweet. almost like this song is not known at all or had no success.
@MultiGiga225 жыл бұрын
I got the feeling that maybe she simply struggles 2 play guitar and sing at same time, its very hard 2 do and the way she pronounces her words suggests this atleast 2 me, but either its beautiful, her voice and guitar, live performance is raw compared 2 studio and i love that... Lol red wine and youtube
