I became aware of Lianne while checking into a interview with Joss Stone (whom I enjoy so much) on French TV. Due to that I have spent roughly 3 hours here watching performances from Lianne. That was then reason enough to check out this interview with her. She is like Joss....So natural, pleasant and talented. Looking forward to hearing so much more from her.

She's gorgeous although it's a shame the interviewer is quite unaware of the creative process hurrying her to hurry up with her writing as well as other instances.

Olivia H I agree with you. Also, in the first part of this interview, I find him offensive - as I find all people who do this offensive - ...that need in white people to see a person of colour and immediately want to discuss parentage and heritage. She is British. She handled the question very politely and with grace, but you could also see the point she was making. The same thing happened with Cleo Laine, jazz singer from the 1950s. She was always described as a 'Jamaican jazz singer', but she was English - born and raised in Uxbridge! It's a type of attitude that's sad to see in this interview. From the first moment of that first interview, I think a type of polite mild contempt is detectable, and she never really lets go fully in the interview. I sense that the interviewer is constantly trying to lead somewhere with his questions rather than just being genuinely insightful, and that would bring the guards up in anyone.
