The Car is really nice but the on road price goes around 27.35 Lacs. And in this price range so many features are missing. They should update this & Those are: 1. No Ventilated Seats. In this price range the ventilated Seats is must, but MG have not given. 2. No Under Thyes Support in Back Seat & the seating possure is little bit straight which is not a comfortable seating as I think. 3. Reverse Parking Camera clearity is so poor, in this price range they should give the good quality with clearity camera. 4. No Auto Dimming IRVM which is so surprising. Around 12 to 15 Lacs price range cars gets the auto dimming IRVM & in this they have not given which is not at all good. 5. No Fogg Lamps & the visibility of the projector headlights is not that good. So they should give the fogg lamps. 6. No Branded Speakers, In this price range atleast they should give the good quality speakers like bosch, Infinity, Harman Kardon etc. 7. No Cool Glove Box Which is a must. 8. So much lag in the touch screen, they should update it. 9. Not the Great Bluetooth, so much lag in the bluetooth. 10. Steering Is Not adjustable fully & at higher speed the steering should become hard but it remains so light which is a little bit risky. 11. And Last thing which I feel that it should be there is Ambient Lights. The Ambient Lights looks so good and in this price range it should be there. This are the cons which MG should upgrade and then this car will be a best EV Car. 🙂

This car costs around 10 lacs more than the Astor, if someone drives for 1 lac km he will spend 11 lacs considering Astors avg. mileage to be 10 km/l and cost of petrol is 110₹. Replacement of battery in the ZS EV will cost 5 lacs considering competition in the EV market after next 5 years. Cost of running the ZS EV for 1 lac km should be around 2.5 lac. So it’s 11 lac(excluding service cost) in the Astor and 7.5-8 lacs on the ZS EV for 1 lac km. Petrol Astor wins, you are saving 10 lacs straight when buying and use this money to pay for the petrol.

the car is nice but if we talk about practically 25lakhs is a huge amount for country like India even if someone buys only for office going then he/she could buy a car under 10lakhs and use it , still there will be a difference of 15 lakhs . Main drawback is even if we buy also we cant take it for long distance even interdistrict is non thinkable .. i think company should make hybrid version for as of now till EV infrastructure is not ready for use.

If we compare this to petrol Astor, it's not worth it. Technically speaking, after a span of 7 years, the battery would need a replacement and you would have to shell out 7lac for the same. Now, if we compare to petrol Astor, the price difference is about 6 to 7 lacs. Even if we drive the vehicle for 15 years, we won't spend that much on petrol. I feel EVs need a bit more time and India won't witness a sudden change until 2035. Can't say the same about diesel. So practically, ev is suitable for those, who have a primary vehicle and need a secondary vehicle just for the city..
