MG ZS EV is quite expensive as it is based on MG Astor, Electric vehicles are very expensive now a days even after getting the benefits related to Taxes, but its Ex-Showroom is price is already 2-3 lakhs overpriced per variant. Best convenient cars related to milage are the diesel ones or CNG cars if your concern is related to milage or running cost, owning a car is itself a luxury, when we cross a certain price related to car purchase so in that case I think car is just for fun and having long trips or to fulfils aspirations, and finally just analyse the requirement and drive freely. Because driving is not a activity in which we need to calculate the range, the EV stations, questions upon Reliability. And the toll charges nowadays are over Rs 1 per km. No matter what you are owning a pertol, diesel, Ev, hybrid, Or CNG.

Pollution calc- 1. Pollution when we extract crude oil from ground 2. Pollution when we ship the fuel in Diesel powered vessels to our country 3. Foreign currency expenditure for India 4. Crude is again transported to Refinery in Diesel trucks or trains 5. Massive pollution when refining crude oil, effectively producing petroleum products and by products 6. Finally the refined crude i.e. petrol/diesel is transported to your local fuel Station again in a diesel truck 7. Then we burn that fuel at 30% efficiency depositing more carbon into environment So this is nothing compared to the pollution generated by any coal plant in India. Plus the coal plant is far away and not directly polluting the air that is occupied by humans. So funny that people are not willing to educate themselves but prefer blabbering about stuff they are not aware of.

He is unable to sell his car as these cheap Chinese clones have no resale value. Bought for 22 L and resale is around 8 L after 3 years. And let's not talk about Hector auto mileage. 700 petrol auto which is a lot more powerful has better mileage. Tata and Mahindra have fit and finish issues, infotainment hardware and software issues but rarely have mechanical issues and never have had these sort of fatal issues. Buy a suzuki or hyundai for peace of mind. Do not buy these cheap Chinese sh*t.

​@@Adwatism just to be clear. Mechanical issues are basics of a car. Not related to software. I've not seen many complaints regarding engine or basic hardware. Albeit tata services are terrible. Mahindra is reliable as well as services are also better than tata at least. I've had cars from suzuki, tata and right now have two Mahindras. Never faced any major issues in any said brand.

MG ki ZS chahe petrol mei ho ya electric mei, bohot behtareen gaadi hai. Baaki jaha EV lene ki baat hai, 2 din pehle article aya hai ki EV owners ab wapas petrol ya diesel engine gaadi lena chahte hai. Hybrid is the way forward. Government should move towards hybrid technology instead of pushing for full electric.

Meri daily running 75-80 km h and yearly 2 trip ho jate hain, to almost 25000km/year running h or is according CNG option better h Mujhe meri requirements k according Hyundai exter sx(o) AMT pasand h kyunki mera daily updown delhi to gurugram h. Mini SUV type looks and all features are available in exter. But my question is kya AMT varient mein outside CNG lagwana sahi decision hoga and AMT transmission ki maintanance kitni extra hoti h manual ke comparison mein Pls help me to choose the correct car 🚗

I wonder why people buy a petrol CVT or DCT for 20L instead of EV at same price or even a little more for city usage and if they have home charging option available. To me it is a no brainer to buy EV because if you spend same amount for cost of petrol car you will anyway save in running cost.
