ahh another Shotaro Ikenami work, played by the iconic actor Ken Matsudaira and some other actors too. actually, he didn't have to kill Wasuke but since the bad guys got his daughter, Juzo had no choice but to kill Wasuke then, and Wasuke knowing he was glad when he died at the hands of Juzo rather than his devious half-brother, is relieved. too bad Juzo didn't get to live long enough to have a good life with his family, well a brief period is enough rather than nothing at all right.

This is one of the best Japanese Chambala films, full of philosophy and a complex plot. It is rare to see on this channel. One of the few good films Ken Matsudaira starring in his life of career. The last scene is quite unnecessary. It looks cloned from Marlon Brando's famous film "The Godfather". Matsudaira Ken is now an old man. Time is fair to everyone.
