Brain injuries aren’t always obvious. Remember Natasha Richardson’s ski accident? She just had a headache but otherwise had no outward symptoms.

@@Mai-sx3yf Yes I know this too. But this is a sport that is known that brain injuries occur regularly. I feel that they shld be stopped sooner, especially when you see someone hurting.

It's amazing to think that the Borowitz grave at 5:16 shows the lady - presumably his wife - lived for 66 years after her husband had died. it's like a second lifetime.

Thank you Lamont.. I have been secretly crying , too much lately .it's almost like you had an intuition to help someone out there who's going trough hell . .I'm about to lose my mom any day to alzheimers...and I feel so sad and depressed...it's like torturing knowing her days are numbered and constantly thinking is today the day or tomorrow.. ,she has that blank stare with no life in them and I know she can sense that she's dying. .it's just horrible watching someone who had so much life in them giving up because they can no longer fight the disease.....I needed that link you posted...I'm going to watch it ...God bless you.

Cecilia, I've lost both my parents, my dad in 1970 when I was still in HS, my mom on his birthday in Nov 2000, both quickly and unexpected, I don't know what's worse, what you're going through or being not prepared, I hope you have the support you need, I can be your silent support and friend, is there anything I can do for you? I could PM you my number? I just don't want you to feel like you're all alone, here's some comfort for you, your mom is unaware of what she's going through, which is a blessing. Hang in there, you are of worth of infinite worth!

I love watching your videos. Random but my mom had a massive heart attack suddenly on march 30, 2011. She did not survive sadly as she went too long without oxygen. It has taken me many years to accept her death and be able to talk about death. Because of you and the *stares in mortician* group on fb, I have finally come to terms and am comfortable with the subject of death now. Thank you so much for that. You are a kind person.

One of the many things I like about your vlogs Lamont is that you focus on the headstones long enough to read them. I visited cemeteries in Pennsylvania and New York State when I was collecting information about my father’s maternal and fraternal lines of his tree. There is so much history you can learn even from a stone not part of your tree. Thanks for taking the extra few seconds to allow me to read the names and dates. I am 76 years old and am in the category of dealing with my own mortality. I am going to watch Moses video. Thank you for mentioning it. Peace out. 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🙏

In the lighter weight classes, there is a lot of cutting to make weight. That means cutting a lot of water weight to make it into a specific weight class. Your brain is inside your head floating in fluid. This fluid helps protect your brain from impact. When you cut water weight to an extreme, it drains the protective fluid around the brain. Leaving it more vulnerable to impacts.
