I was working for a lumber yard for a few weeks to cover my friend who busted up his ankle doing moto-cross. I delivered lumber to a Habitat-For-Humanities job-site. I was unloading the lumber from the truck and saw him outta of my side vision. I asked the site foreman "Is that President Jimmy Carter?...site foreman told me ya...I'm not dreaming. I walked over and shook his hand. This man was the president when my age only had a single digit in it.

As someone who doesn’t like Trump I respect that Truth/tweet whatever platform that was on. Jimmy Carter was probably the most ethical/moral leader we had as president. Doesn’t make his presidency a success, he was a middle of the pack president. But in terms of being a man of honor and a great human being he was probably the best in that regard. Politics aside the world will miss Jimmy Carter.

I remember president cater being in office. I also remember well the Iran hostage situation too. Had the rescue mission for the hostage been successful. Cater would have been the greatest president to have ever held the office. When the rescue mission failed. Carter lost faith in his military leadership and the country lost faith in him. I’m not gonna act like he was one of the top best Presidents by any means. But he was such a good person. He said what he felt, he tried to do what was right. He’s not a bad person, unlike most evil politicians who would obsess and abuse their power, he really tried and cared about the people, unfortunately with the inflation and gas prices of 1979 and the Iran Hostage Crisis he just had bad luck. But he still felt like a real leader and someone who wasn’t abusing his power. I was just in Plains, Ga on Fri and visited the museum and the community he grew up in, very similar to my GA roots. He was an incredible person. T is like dirt on Carter shoe soles. Washington was not kind to Carter, paving the way for the destruction of the middle class by Republicans in the years to come. And we asked for it with our votes. Carter was a true statesman and history will take note.

Something most people have forgotten is that Jimmy Carter brought the leaders of Israel and Egypt together with a peace deal that has lasted sense. This happened right after a War between the two countries ❤

@ so maybe you can tell me where did the extra 10 million votes go? He didn’t loose that election and you know it. You’re trying to tell me there were more than 10 million people so motivated to keep trump from getting elected that they voted only 1 time? Even a Democrat is smarter than that.
