Love your temporal bone and maxillofacial trauma videos, thanks a lot! One quick question-at around 9:00 you point to the lateral orbital wall fracture (labeled D) and say that it is the zygomaticosphenoidal fracture. My understanding was that the lateral orbital wall was representative of the zygomaticofrontal aspect of the ZMC where as the posterior maxillary wall is more representaive of the zygomaticosphenoidal component of the ZMC. Is this the case? Thanks again!

1006caraqueno in my understanding, the anterior of the orbit is the zygomatic frontal .. the postero- lateral wall is made of the combination of zygomatic and sphenoid bones hence the sphenoid- zygomatic suture

Entrapment is a clinical diagnosis. Wiser words have not been said. So many pages for concerns for "entrapment" because of the CT read, and they will tell you in the same sentence EOMI. Future and current radiology colleagues please remember this. Comment on herniation, but don't use "entrapment" or soft hinges at "possibly entrapped".
