Facilitating Early Literacy

During early speech and language development, children learn skills that are important to the development of literacy. Kathryn Ressa MS CCC-SLP TSSLD, speech-language pathologist and pediatric feeding specialist, and Becky Simon, the Director of Admissions and Education Coordinator at Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church Day School, will discuss how oral language, phonological awareness, print awareness, and alphabet knowledge promote emergent literacy goals.
This virtual workshop is appropriate for parents of children up to age 5.
