This video showcases the FacilityMeltdown mod by loaforc. Which is apart of a modpack that Puddlespout, one of the members of UMI is currently working on.

hey I just wanted to suggest making this some kind of event and not a consistent thing, I think this makes for a really good and fun experience but I think it also removes a really powerful experience from the original ex: when you removed the cell and everything turn off it made exploring harder it was some good laughs and monster encounters became 100% more spooky but not only that you could blame whoever pulled the battery. but now because it always explodes no matter what it becomes run situation where everybody has to evacuate and salvage what they can within the time it's not better or worse I just think both of them are fun I also don't wanna sound too demanding just sharing somethoughts in a mod I adore, respect to you all modders and keep modding o7

Tried out this mod with a few friends of mine and man it made the gameplay so much more intense. I highly recommend this with a group of players, it's incredibly fun if you love chaos breaking out.

That’s so cool but it annoys me so much that when you sprint you don’t leave enough stamina so you are left to wait for a little stamina to regenerate before jumping down from the train tracks and jumping onto the ship. Great mod it would make getting the apparatus an actual last task.

Is the time to escape with the apparatus always 2 minutes no matter what map you are on? Some moons facilities are absolutely massive plus the way back to the ship takes a while, so I feel like the bigger maps need a bit higher time limit so it would even be possible to make it back to the ship with the apparatus assuming you are running full sprint as much as possible and know where you are going. Of course you can just get lucky and instead of the apparatus being somewhere a good distance away from any of the exits, it's right next to an exit haha

In the config file, Loaforc says you shouldn't adjust the time since it can cause issues, but doesn't elaborate. For the time being, it looks like it's locked at 2 minutes.
