Facility Technology Evaluation Cell (TEC)

The Technology Evaluation Cell (TEC) consists of two Kuka Quantec KR210 R3100 robots moving on a common ten-metre linear axis. In addition, the system has sufficient space to carry out experiments with large tools. The TEC is ideal for applications where cooperating robots are required, such as the transport of large textile blanks. To synchronise their movements, the software tool KoKo (Collision-free Cooperation) is available at DLR in Augsburg to automate the programming of the robots.
