Facing 2x senior manu as ELITE spec

In this mechabellum game we are playing the ELITE specialist. Unfortunately for us, the enemy finds two senior manufacturing specialist cards.

After the recent patch I have been playing around with a few things. fang sledge overlord no longer feels like insta win. Carry arclights have actually felt like a decent pivot if I notice the enemy messing up their early game (which I like, because it means I am rewarded for noticing that). fang fort + miscellanous probably most well rounded endgame comp atm, but I am still trying to figure out how to win out in the mirror if they also go fang fort.

Yea I think arclights are a lot better now. People are deploying so many crawlers in the first rounds because they are kinda broken compared to fangs. So the arclight becomes good again. And it's hard to answer the arclights with fang shields since you die to early crawlers with fangs and if you go later fangs you lose critical deployments and then when you go shield it just gets countered because the enemy gets free units like mustangs or vulcans or whatever. Scorpion feeling really good also because the boat isn't an autowin anymore

I have to say I just tried this tactic as elite spec (my starting units were storms with crawlers vs balls with crawlers). He wanted to kill my wraiths with mustangs so I did armored enhancement, then he added fire badgers with liquid fire and I took rhinos. He went melter right into one, so I sold him and 2nd rhino mobile beaconed straight to his tower for every round. I lost only one round. pretty easy game :D thanks for tip RAT

In the beginning, against crawler and mustang, isn't it the perfect time to toss out a couple arclights? Especially with the limitations of elite spec? Not criticising, I know you don't like arcs, really just trying to learn. If there was ever a time where a few made sense it seemed like this was the time.

oppo going mustang explosive ammo as their chaff clear seemed like a mistake, then they went overlord without enough chaff clear.

Elite spec is my personal favorite start. Just love the little extra power with each unit, especially late game :)

hard game to evaluate! The overload boat + mustang HE makes a lot of sense on paper but didn't really work out. I was scared of the boats. Feels like he was always one solution behind.

Whenever I build 1/2 this much chaff the other person always gets Vulcans and obliterates it. But when I see your games your opponents never build Vulcans. What's going on!?! Wouldn't a couple Vulcans on his board have ruined those crawlers??

they have built the vulcan previously and died with it, so they no longer try it! Don't think vulcan does anything here, oil on the other hand does

Vulcans are a bit too easy to block as they get stuck on tanks or rhino

I tried it and it worked. It was in low MMR I think my opponent was 1,1k or something
