Rashmi Samant is an Indian student who came into the spotlight during her time at Oxford University. In 2021, she made history as the first Indian woman elected as President of the Oxford Student Union. However, her tenure was short-lived due to controversy surrounding past social media posts, which led to her resignation. Samant holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical
Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, India, and was pursuing a Master’s in Energy Systems at Oxford. Despite the challenges, she continues to be an advocate for inclusivity and diversity in education. Rashmi’s story highlights the complexities of cultural context and public scrutiny in leadership roles.

People used to look up to India in the ancient times. Foreigners used to study in Nalanda university. I remember ancient Chinese called India “civilized” and “center of knowledge”. Scientists and mathematicians of the islamic golden age admired our work. Greeks and Romans also used to look up to us. Good old times. Anglo-Saxons and other Westerners are the reason that South Asians face discrimination worldwide. They ruined our image by portraying us as animal f*ckers, street sh*tters, unhygienic (India needs to work on hygiene, I admit, but man often it is over exaggerated), savages, r*pists, etc. West butchered our reputation. We think South Asians face discrimination because of skin color, but that is not the case. When you are brown, people think you are from South Asia, and South Asia has a bad image.

I salute Rashmi Samant for having stood up for own Dharma. To me she appeared like a resurrected Rani Abbakka Chowta. I was raptly engrossed in the podcast inspite of having periodic bouts of goose pimples. I was also keeping an eye on the body language of Abhijit Ji. His faced showed all the pent-up anger, just like what i was going through. I hope a documentary movie is made soon to transmit the emotions that Rashmi went through. Hope the movie does not include any mirch massala with an eye on the boc office return; but a movie that portrays the unadulterated facts. *सत्यमेव जयते* # I am a Tuluva Mangalorean and have visited Oxford University as a tourist in 1989.

More than uniting, it's actually a question of organising and creating powerful platforms. Currently, hindus have very limited number of platforms to make their voice heard worldwide in an organised sort of way, and unfortunately, bjp has failed till now to do anything worthwhile in this regard. A billion people united, but shouting together in an unorganised way is just noise and chaos. But if just 5% of them get organised and speak together for a common cause, it becomes a proclamation which none can ignore.

Ancient universities such as nalanda, takshashila, vikramshila, and much more over thousands of years ago. 2.Indians had concepts of calculus before west like infinite series for pi, power series for sine and cosine, inverse tangent series, and much more. 3. Aryabhatta invented sine function. 4. Bhaskara II gave modern definitions of sine and cosine. 5. Sushruta was one of the pioneers in surgery over 2000 years ago. 6. Maharishi Kanad, a philosopher, proposed the idea of atoms in 600 BCE. 7. Brahmagupta invented the formula to determine the area of cyclic quadrilaterals. 8. Decimal System. 9. Binary number system by pingala. 10. Ayurveda. 11. Bhaskara I stated that at the highest point, the rate of change is zero. 12. Varahamihira predicted water on Mars thousands of years ago. 13. Sridharacharya invented the modern-day quadratic formula. 14. Solutions to quadratics. Modern India's Achievements: 1. Har Gobind Khorana synthesized the first artificial gene and demonstrated the role of nucleotides in protein synthesis. He also played a massive role in cracking the genetic code. 2. Thank you for this wonderful podcast. Rashmi is fighter, a true Hindu who has taken on the injustices of the world with so much perseverance. Like a person with true Hindu values, look how has transformed positively, transcending above all the wrong things that happened to her and has taken a positive, enlightening approach instead of turning bitter or negative or violent which is often the path taken by other forces with the pretext of persecution. More power to you Rashmi. Keep up with this commendable work.

*Mandir Wapasi Abhiyaan:* The task is streamlined. Almost every district of Bharat has 5 to 10 Temples to be reclaimed. A state-wise _Temple Reclamation Committee_ should be formed that inculdes prominent lawyers and judges along with other temple pandits, Sanatani historians and influential people of Sanatan. They will chalk out a district-wise plan for every temple. Gather circumstantial, archaeological, anecdotal, documented, historical as well as trace and forensic evidences and file the cases simultaneously. Victory is ours. जय हिंदू राष्ट्र 🙏जय अखंड भारत

What i found is that in hinduism we dont support our own brother or sisters like we support israel or russia which are currently in war .But do we remember the sacrifice the hindu people living in pakistan , bangaldesh and afganistan ?Still many people of our own community are being marginalized in our own nation sometimes but the main point is do we stand up for them ?This has become so much normalized that i do wonder why is this the case.I think before the end of 2050 we need to get up together as a community just like how the israel has done .Lets see what happens

Thank you Rashmi for your vocalisation against hinduphobia. The reason why today I am able to add that I am vocal about my practice as Hindu is because we have people like you. I hope University of Oxford rectifies it's mistakes and voices against hinduphobia. A University is a heaven of education, and if universities like Oxford, Havard which are considered pinnacle of highest form of education l, then it really questions the credibility and prestige of such Universities.

Such clarity of thought, bravery from someone as young as 25. Kudos for how you braced the vilification at Oxford. It's a shame that all of us Indians living in UK did not come to support you in person at Oxford. As a community, we are really bad at coming together to show our unity for any cause. We are more worried about our day jobs rather than getting together to fight such causes. Maybe that's one of the reasons we are also seen as weak. Brilliant podcast. Inspired to read your books now.

2. Artificial synthesis of coenzyme A by Har Gobind Khorana 3. Chandryaan 3 landing on the south pole of moon. 4. Mars Mission. 5. Sun Mission (Aditya - L1). 6. Fiber optics by Narinder Singh Kapany. 7. Jagdish Chandra Bose was one of the pioneers in wireless communication before Marconi and transmitted signals before him. 8. Discovery of millimeter waves by Jagdish Chandra Bose. 9. Discovery of cholera toxin by Dr. Sambhu Nath De. 10. USB by Ajay Bhatt. 11.Pentium Chips by Vinod Dham. 12. S.N. Bose made contributions to quantum mechanics like Bose-Einstein condensate and laid the foundations for Higgs Boson. 13.Quantum Statistics by S.N. Bose. Also, Boson particles are named after him. 14. Discovery of triple helical structure of collagen. 15. Ramachandran plot, which is a tool used to visualize which angles can amino acids take in proteins. 16. Venki Ramakrishnan discovered the high resolution atomic structure of ribosomes. 17. First DNA based Covid Vaccine. 18. Cervical Cerclage was first described by Sirodkhar. 19. Crescograph. 20. George Sudarshan was one of the pioneers in quantum optics. (Watch and learn more about him). 21. Microwave Optics. There are many more indian greats you should learn about. Examples: Srinivasa Ramanujan, Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, C.V. Raman and Raj Reddy (one of the pioneers in AI along with McCarthy). Many of these were wrongfully attributed to foreigners or they teach you about this stuff, but never tell Indian origins. Bloodsucking leeches and their time is up .😂

@tp_2o23 Anglo-Saxons are a cancer. Not only that, India had advanced ship building industries and textile industries. They destroyed it.

@tp_2o23 People used to look up to India in ancient times and study here. We were so prosperous, and people took pride in trading with us. Not only that, the islamic scientists in the golden age praised our mathematical works, Greeks also praised us too. We also had ancient trade relations with Syrians and Chinese were our best friends. Anglo-Saxons are warmongering, r*pists, thieves, murderers, etc.

Hats off to Rashmi Samant for staying brave and standing her ground when she was in Britain. People like her teach all of us that we shouldn't be looking for validation elsewhere. Those who peddle false narratives about us are insecure in their own shoes and sell-out media houses will work for personal benefits. They should all be exposed and shut off for good. There's so much depth in our civilizational upbringing to even have any time to ponder about haters who live abroad. We have given the world so much - the world's oldest religion, the oldest language, pythagoras theorem, Chaturanga , Yoga, Ayurveda.. to name a few. Let's continue to honour our ancient ancestors and reclaim our number 1 standing. 💯 Bharat Mata ki Jay.
