you can make it so that you are able to left-click attack any enemy by going to Settings -> Control Settings -> NPC Attack options -> Left-click where available. another thing to consider for the future is setting up your F Keys in Settings -> All Settings -> Controls -> scroll down to keybinds.

I’m so happy you’re moving to bossing! That’s my favorite part of the game. It’s so rewarding as you keep improving!

Hey, I’m a pretty tenured PvMer, and would consider myself a bit of a turbo-nerd for this game and I gotta say that I think these videos are wonderful. Not only is the editing and production quality quite good (your mic quality certainly is better than a good number of very popular OSRS creators), but I also think that putting this type of content out there with YOUR natural progression is just so wholesome and different from what I see most days. I live in a section of the community that has hyper-optimized the game, and while that isn’t a bad thing in its own right, I feel like many of us have forgotten that joy of discovery and the anxiety of facing new challenges. I love the perspective I get watching these videos, and I hope you continue to enjoy your journey 😊

yup you already improved 10x in this video, keep it up! it really is about building that muscle memory of prayer swapping, eating and movement until it just clicks

Talking through each prayer is is absolutely the way to go. The only way I've earned my fire capes is by staring at Jad and mumbling "Dangly mage. Stampy range" for the entire fight

Congrats on your first scurrius kill! When you get his unique item you can make a weapon that makes dealing with the little rats a lot easier, plus more damage to the boss so you get faster kills. I would say one thing to keep in mind is to not get discouraged when making a mistake/getting hit; as long as you have food in your inventory you're still in it! Just get the hang off the boss and perfection will come naturally. Looking forward to seeing more! Good luck!

Gratz! Some tips: You can eat karambwans at the same time as another piece of food when you need to heal up fast. For Scurius, focus on dodging the rubble and changing prayer. When he goes in the middle of the room in the final phase, he won't usee melee anymore so just focus on magic or ranged protection. For magic, a trident of the seas is really great but might be unsuatainable until you get into high slayer/bossing/skilling. But since you're already using manta rays and a d plate, could be worth it. Turtles might be cheaper than manta rays and heal just 1 hp less, check the ge before buying bulk food.

lmfao great ending, scurrius is definitely a great boss to practice on for the much more punishing movement and prayer flicking that comes with later PvM. not sure if you're using hot keys but I swapped my inventory to F1 and prayer to F2 so I can quickly swap between them as needed, definitely helps in the more intense fights. good luck further, great progress!

A super helpful tip is in settings. Change your left click to always attack enemies.
@imadeamistak4905Күн бұрын
lmfaooooo the ending. thats why you should always panic teleport using the teleport tabs. remember when u used someones house to level prayer? have a stack of house teleport tabs to use to panic teleport, use their houses and get back using their teleport nexus

After reading through the other tips and seeing Scurrius is pretty much covered I have a helpful one for Bryophyta. Since you're using Runelite, you should have the MenuEntrySwapper plugin enabled on by default. This allows you to swap the order of the menus of items when you right click on them (as well as do a bunch of other things in the game). What this means is you can swap the left click of a wieldable item like the axe you're using at Bryophyta to finish off the little guys to "use" instead of "wield". This means you'll just have to left click the axe and then left click the little guys without having to navigate the "wield/use/drop/examine/etc" menu for every single one. It's super useful and stuff like that helps in loads of places in the game. To swap the order: -Hold shift and right click on any item/object/npc in the game. -Choose "Swap left click [name of thing you clicked on]" (can also change what the shift click of that item is) -Choose which option you want to be the automatic left click option Another little thing that might help at Scurrius' final phase is that when you see the falling rock attack start there will ALWAYS be one on the tile you're on. Every time he does the attack in the final phase you will have to move so sometimes instead of worrying about perfectly moving to one that doesn't have a spot it's better just to move in general when you see the attack coming in since you'll have more of a chance of not being hit by it. Should allow you to focus more on the prayers to use against his range/mage attack instead of worrying about those AND the roof attack. Was gonna recommend some other bosses to look at but I think I've done enough backseating already so I'll just say great series and I look forward to seeing where ya end up!

EVERYONE has trouble with bosses they havent done before. I have over 100 kc on corrupted gauntlet, and i recently died multiple times trying to learn Callisto, a far easier boss than that. Pvmers make it look easy because they're killing a boss they've killed hundreds of times before, but just know that they got to that skill level by dying over and over and over again, just like you. Huge gz on the scurrius kill!

LOVE this series🤣 Remember some weapons have special attacks like the dragon scimi you're using. For the Dscim it lowers the targest defence meaning you have higher accuracy on hits! When your Special attack orb (two swords under your run energy) are blue it means the equipped weapon have special attack, if its grey it dont. Good luck on the next episode ! ps. if you ever want to make a discord server hmu have made a few

Good to know! Also, i'm using the dragon longsword. I havn't done monkey madness yet for the scimi. I was considering making a discord server! but i'm not sure how all to go about it. I made a discord server for my art channel and its barely active :/

Somehow your amulet of glory keeps disappearing. You should wear that thing every time you fight! It may feel like it's minor but even the minor stats really add up and make a difference when you're fighting. Also need to unlock the Helm of Neitiznot from the Fremennik Isles quest. It has strength bonus to increase your max hit (which means all hits are slightly higher overall) and a prayer bonus to make your prayer points last longer time periods. However monkey madness is also very important if not even more important so I like your ideas there. Ring of recoil is a cheap expendable ring that deals up to 20 free damage per ring to anything that deals damage to you and can be a great way to get those first boss kills too. Proper gear is more than half the battle in RuneScape! The better the gear you get, the more you can unlock and play with. Also nice first experience at Scurrius and congratz!

Since you’re at 1 hunter I gotta recommend making a quick trip to the Varrock Museum basement. If you do the little quiz they have down there you’ll go straight from 1-9 hunter! Plus some slayer xp

If you want to keep at scurrius, I would definitely go to a mass world to get more kc to get a spine. Rat bane weapons do a ton of damage against him. On a separate note, I would go afk sandcrabs for a few hours to get up to base 70s, you fare better against bosses. Lastly, there are a ton of easy quests to do it get easy xp and making your way to barrows gloves is a great long term goal. Nice job on first scurrius kc!

Monkey Madness unlocked Dragon scimitar, it's way better than a dragon longsword. Also, if you've done Lost City you can use a dragon dagger for the special attacks. You'll get more DPS and combat will feel more consistent. In the settings you can change the attack options to always left click, it's worth it just to not right click everytime. You can always change it back for activities that require right click attack

It is hard to tell due to the clip cutting out at 5:43 but make sure to turn on Auto-equip worn items from gravestone. Wrench icon -> All settings -> Search for "auto-" and check mark the top option. As the name says, it will equip everything as you had on your character automatically. Very useful setting to have when running around in the game.

Loving this so far, seeing people learn osrs warms my heart so much. If you end up needing a goal to aim for, I would highly suggest working towards Recipe for Disaster, it will give you your best gloves for a long long time, and has a bunch of quest bosses to give you some more training :) If you ever would like more osrs friends I would be happy to add you on discord or something
