if you're an ironman you're supposed to kill and cremate each tier of shade to work your way up the key tiers before killing the highest tier shade, but if you run Temple Trekking's hard route the shades encounter you get right at rhe start will drop the second highest tier of remains, so you can start at silver tier (or if you're lucky you might get a gold key straight away).

@@AverageRSN well, not in general, it's just the quickest way to get your first few sets of fiyr remains, the cremation of which which give silver keys (or gold keys at ~1/6.5). after you have a silver key you have access to the silver area of the catacombs, it's much faster to kill the shades in there until you get the gold key, at which point you can take on urium shades.

Ive never had to restart each time. You just keep a key of the highest tier each time your done to open the door next time 😂

You can use the ectoplasmator while killing shades to get a little more prayer exp for free!

Also something to note is the “bleached bones” restore prayer XP when used on the altar in the main room. They restore a lot, like I think they act like praying at an altar. Also a cannon can be set up in the intersection right inside the urium shade room.

Adding the information on how to make the basic necessities for the minigame first would have been a nice touch, especially to understand why redwood pyre logs or 95 firemaking is worth it (Especially from an ironman perspective). Also, starting from the end of the minigame, instead of the begining, is pretty confusing to someone who has no clue what this minigame is.

Man i'd love a video on each individual role. It's a super overwhelming mini-game to get into, and most of the guides are super old or are for ironmen or something like that. I want to know all the ways to play- and what rewards those ways to play offer. Or maybe split into sections for example "fire making exp morton guide, gold making morton guide, clue scroll morton guide" ect. This was super helpful, but i still find myself confused as hell what the "game" part of this is and what all the different things to do actually give you.

one thing to mention is when ever those zealots pop out while opening chests, the bleached bones they drop fully restores your prayer when used at the nearby altar. Really nice to keep few when ever you are grinding the remains, dont have to even spent resources on prayer.

the zealot robes have a 5% chance to not use up bones when buried. each blessed bone shard does this roll. it also stacks with chaos temple altar

I did redwoods to 99, pretty much dead on 20k logs. Last I checked oil was around 1500. The pyre logs are 6554 each, and that’s with profit. Add the Ectoplasmator, I’m looking at about 4.5mil prayer xp and some nice profit if i put them all in shades.

Use the logs on the pyre and then use the shades on it as soon as you see the logs pop up to skip the second animation

Guthans+amulet of the Damned allows you to overheal 10 hp, verac+amulet of the Damned grants +30 prayer bonus (minimum required for doubling the length of time your prayer points last) Dharok+amulet of the Damned gives a chance to return a percentage of dame received, ahrims+amulet of the Damned let's you use ahrims staff to auto cast ancients (haven't used with torag or karil sets so I don't know what they get)

If burning the remains becomes super expensive then there will be more money from killing shades or making the pyre logs. Obviously that doesnt help if you want the prayer/FM xp, but everyone else will be happy

Zealot outfit saves some bones/bone shards/ensouled heads Redwood logs from golden chests instead training wc until 90 (85 with boosts), with 90 fm you can use redwood logs in the abyssal lantern for gotr bonuses

@@sinastir7688 for starting: -get graceful outfit for multiple things like quests or farming runs -bark from forestry events can be traded for sawmill vouchers to save logs for construction. It helped me a lot to reach lvl 70 for sote quest -since varlamore release you can catch (hunter skill) moonlight moths jars, those act like a prayer pot -Scurrius is great for irons to train combat -Stardust from shooting stars is a great way to obtain gems -Giants foundry and hunter rumours reward you with a decent amount of coins instead going to agility pyramid I have more tips, you can dm in game with the same name or Fehiret (my iron acc)
