Difference between Heem and Rocky. Rocky is the overall better META player by far, but Heem has a more sim Maia than Rocky. Rocky's style works well with everyone, whereas based on what I'm seeing here, Heem is trying to actually PLAY like how Maia fights, with a few off putting things here (like Jab body straighting), but nonetheless, strings things together in more of a Maia fashion.

I refuse to believe you are the best player. Rocky beats you at everything in this game. You rely too much on cheese and it’s just painful to watch. You spam takedowns without any setups hoping for the best so of course you’ll get maybe 1 out of 10 takedowns. It’s stupid all the takedowns Martial had to deny. Like wtf kind of shot is this 12:41? It’s fully understandable that Martial gets frustrated when playing this LOL. Your standup is non existent and Martial is ten times more strategic with his shots. I clicked this video because I like it when the opponent actually gets you down. You're really good at watching and figuring out the other player in the stand-up and usually come out on top that way; it seems like most players still stick mostly with standing, though... At the same time, you aren't helpless on the ground either. So I knew this one would be more like an actual MMA fight but where the commentary is coming from the competitor.

Rocky is a better meta ground player, he will look deny everything/posture up and GNP (not Maia like), and of course he's known for his subs, but on the feet, behind Uni and Barth, he's one of the better meta strikers as well, but doesn't really fight unique to how a fighter really fights. It's victory or nothing for Rocky, and that's respectable. Heem really tries to play like Maia, like how Maia fights, and it shows when he plays the game, minus a few things like jab body straighting lmao. Even if denied he continues to grapple, not reset, let his Stam recover etc etc, just constantly trying to move and attack the limbs/neck. The strikes are generally for GA, not really to finish.

Ive fought The Dream A couple times now, every time is an epic battle of grappling. Honestly he is def up there as one of the best grapple artists. But his skill is more as a wrestler than a submission fighter. I pride myself one being one of the best submission players in the game, but when it comes to high tier striking, I struggle significantly with getting the fight to the mat. But once were on the mat, if your not high tier like the dream, its the beginning of the end...
