As someone who does alot of melee builds, you gotta get health absorb enchantments. Even on legendary you basically take no damage

My lv81 max Omni Crafter can't do any real damage on Legendary but my lv252 Legendary Character can easily take the fight on Legendary, against the Ebony Warrior. At least I can steal most of his items before the battle begins. Then buff myself with spells + Conjured Creatures etc. before making the first attack. Slow Time Shout after Dragon Armor Shout is needed.

Honestly this fight really disappointed me. I was excited when I finally got to battle the ebony warrior because of all the hype and comparisons to karstag (not that I've fought karstag). But as a melee player I was disappointed when I realized that the only reason the fight was so difficult was because of his ability to reflect damage. To kill him though, I used two daggers (for fast duel wielding), wich did low amounts of damage to prevent receiving to much reflect damage, both of wich I enchanted with absorb health and absorb stamina, and I used a lot of healing potions. (Both daedric daggers, 66 dmg.) I got pushed to death during the process but I eventually got him.

The best weapon against him (without backstabbing him ofc) would be Mehrunes Razor without any upgrades or skill perks so that you barely get any damage and then just continue until the 2-3% instakill trigger and hope he doesn't reflect it 😂🙏🏻

Eh not really. He can be tough for sure, but if you've gotten to lv80 it really shouldn't be a problem. His reflex blows might insta kill you if you do melee and your weapon damage is too high but that's the biggest hurdle.

@@MoltenUprisingMK you can use the impact destruction perk and dual cast spells at him. He'll be stagger locked and can't do anything... It'll just take a long time. You can use archery ( the enhanced dwarven crossbow is really good) you can use melee just make sure your weapon does less than 200 damage to avoid reflect blows killing you. If you use melee I recommend also using a shield and use running bash like I did in the video to keep him on the ground. And using marked for death to start the fight will always make things easier.

You get your archery and sneak to 100 and make archery and sneak enhancing jewellery and you can just sneak archery kill him with one shot it's so easy

It’s fine on legendary if your weapons are powerful enough . I duel weild swords that do 500 damage . Yeah when his perk procs I die but it’s only a 10 percent chance and I’ve killed him in with two or 3 duel heavy attacks, 6 hits ( I usually use dragon aspect shout at start , then hit him with marked for death ) . It’s annoyingly easy

Had my sword's damage at around 2,000-ish thanks to a Fortify One-handed Potion. He died in about 10 seconds. What you *really* shouldn't do is take him too seriously.

That is absurd amount of dmg. I never had my weapon dmg to do more than 300-400 dmg as the game become too easy even on highest difficulty

@@1God1Fury All you really need to do is level Smithing, Alchemy, Enchanting, and the weapon skill of your choice. Then you make some potions that help with those skills, and enchant some armor that also helps with those skills. With a good grip on those, you can make yourself very powerful equipment. No exploits needed.

@@fluffthecat2438 Im aware of alechemy-enchanting exploit you describe with infinite boosting in skills and re-apply to create even more powerful skill boosting potion. Repeating several times till you break the game. I don't find it fun when every enemy die in 1-2 hit and bosses are a joke

@@fluffthecat2438 Under the normal game mechanic. Be a Vampire. Get Necromage Perk and Helmet. Then... You would make your Daedric Plate Set (Skyrim AE) + Dragon Weapons of choice. One you and another for your follower. Get the Goblin Gogh Pet, Skeleton Dog Pet, any other Pet of choice. Make Fortify Craft Potions. Upgrade your chosen Combat Tree. Use your Fortify Craft Enchanted Gear + drink your Fortify Craft Potions. Smith up your gear/weapon or enchant those, the order doesn't matter. Then finally, before you fight the Ebony Warrior. Drink your Damage & Duration Buff Magic Potions. Then cast Buff Spells immediately. Only drink the Potion corresponding to the Spell Buff. Then whip out your dagger. Cast invisibility. And begin the fight with a sneak attack. It helps to smack a Dual Casted Pacify on the Ebony Warrior. Oh, and conjure up your best Summons, 2 or 4 being the max, before attacking. (Then again... Maybe get lucky with the instant kill dagger.)

Yes... I did that. You can Max Pickpocket some of his items then save/reload for the harder items. But know that you can't paralyze the Ebony Warrior. You could use the Disarm Shout, if it works, to negate his Right Handed or Double Handed Weapon.

Melee and builds that are designed to take damage in general unfortunately are unapologetically nerfed in higher difficulties. This is because not only do enemies take less damage, but YOU take more damage. It's very sad that nothing really nerfs stealth archer and it remains the exact same op strat as it always was. Heavy armour especially should scale better.

I use a Xbox 360 controller, if you favorite things in your inventory (including spells) you can hit up or down on the D-pad to bring up your favorite menu and you can equip from there.

I use exploits so I can just one shot him. I think it's honest, considering that legendary difficulty increases your damage taken and reduces the damage done like five times. But now I play on 1st level, having 9 deceases, only 50 HP, reduced recoveries and damage with melee weapons by 50%. That's also challenging 😅

Dude, how TF are you at level 80 and only using elven armor and a steel mace? Armor rating is EVERYTHING when it comes to surviving melee or multiple opponents. For the particular problem of dealing with the reflected damage it can't just be about increasing health it's also got to involve maxing out your health regeneration as well. Even if you are just doing a basic armor weapon/set up as example you should be building your melee fighter out as far as you can. Who on earth would even build a melee build without specializing in heavy armor themselves? Go in with fully maxed out heavy armor skill, full legendary smithed deadric armor that's double enchanted on every single piece. Just because you decide to do a melee focused build doesn't mean you wouldn't give yourself every single possible advantage you could. I don't get it. The main thing this video taught me is not to go into this fight without being fully equipped out and maximizing the right skill trees for melee.

So apparently you don't get how the game works so I'll explain it to you. My armor rating is 690. The armor cap (the point at which armor doesn't block any additional damage) is 567. So I already have the maximum amount of protection out of my elven armor. That steel mace does over 600 damage with enchantments that's enough to one hit most things on master. Also health regen is only helpful if you survive the hit. So anyway reflect blows also applies the damage modifier for the difficulty you're playing on. Being that I'm on legendary difficulty which means that damage gets multiplied 4x when it comes back at me. If that includes the enchantments on my weapon that means over 2500 damage right to my face. So as a melee character facing the Ebony Warrior on a high difficulty you can't do too much damage per hit and you gotta have a beefy health pool to eat that reflect damage if it triggers. Or just use a bow.

@@isaiahwilson2363 well they may have changed how frequently his "reflex blows" perk gets triggered. But I did another video where I just used a weaker weapon and was able to take him out. If you use bows and magic he's no problem at all.
