And honestly they're closed minded, in their best play-style video they think the conjuration warrior is the strongest, so you would think they would add the general archery, one or two handed, and then block to the list if that's their favorite play-style, their made-up boundaries make no sense because honestly you can use all of these perks, and be all of those play-styles in one character before you reach level 50, but go ahead keep listening to them push you to make 9 different characters for the same repetitive story..

One of my favourites is currently conditioning. It makes your(heavy) armour weigh nothing and gets rid of movement penalties for heavy armour. The weight loss is the big thing because otherwise you will always run out of carry weight a lot sooner. The neat thing about it is that you don´t need a 100 in heavy armour, 80 is enough(if you are in the companions guild you can easily get to this point by having Vilkas or was it Farkas idk as a follower, who is a trainer in heavy armour, let him train you and take the money back from his inventory. A bit cheesy but he can train you up to rank 90 in heavy armour and it will cost you a lot less than it actually should) and that pretty much all of the skills on your way to conditioner are somewhat usefull. Apart from that I do also like the deadly aim perk in the sneak tree(I think it was called that) because archery and sneak are a great combo. It also makes the heavy bows a lot better because in open combat you are usually better of using dps-based fast bows like Zephyr while in sneak you will one-hit all but the most powerfull enemies so dps doesn´t play a big role. Last but not least there is the arcane blacksmith. It is incredibly good because it not only allows you to improve enchanted weapons so you can keep them longer without them becoming too bad but also makes you able to improve some unique weapons and daedric artifacts like the Dawnbreaker that you otherwise would have to wait until endgame before you get them so you don´t end up at level 60 with a useless piece of crap you gained at lv. 15. Believe me, this skill is a no-brainer unless you go full-mage and even then it isn´t really useless. However it is kinda hard to get your smithing to the required 60 in smithing, usually the best way is by either mass-smithing dwarfen bows(if you have dwarfen smithing) or by creating jewellry like rings and therefore use the transmutate spell to get all the gold. If you happen to have found some gems, use them to build more valuable jjewellry, not only will this give you more expierience but it will also sell for a way better price.

Personally my favourite perk is Respite in the Restoration tree because how convenient it is. Not only are Restoration spells really good, it also heals you stamina as well, making levelling stamina completely pointless unless you like lugging around loot. You can sprint forever since by the time you run out of stamina, you regen the magicka cost from the spell. You can endlessly chain power attacks with one handed weapons (if that weapon has absorb magicka then you'll never run out of magicka too). If you got the Guardian Circle spell ( or a mod that auto-casts spells for you like I do), you can endlessly chain power attacks from dual wield or 2 handed weapons or have infinite slow time as an archer. Heal sluts can give followers endless power attacks as well.

There are a lot of good perks, but they all pale in comparison to Extra Effect, which is in a tier of its own. The sheer amount of custom-tailored stats you can gain by unlocking this perk and using it on every piece of gear, for ANY type of build just cannot be matched by any other single perk. "Maybe" Impact is a bigger game changer for pure Destruction mages, but that's one niche build compared to literally every build imaginable, and even then, Extra Effect is arguably better. Unless you're doing some kind of a run where you purposefully avoid using fully enchanted gear, your build will be divided into pre-Extra Effect era and post-Extra Effect fully decked out era.

I sense a strong bias for perks that er powerfull at high level, so what about perks that are very good when you can get them, but will be outshone at higher levels. I would mention mystic blade that gives access to essentially unimprovable deadric weapons and impact that lets you stunlock, long before illusion and alteration can do better.

I always felt that it should have been three. I always use Fortify Health and Stamina Regeneration. That usually goes on the chest piece.

one of my favorite enchantments is "drain life". it lets you recover up to 11 points of health on every hit. almost as good as becoming a vampire, without the bad effects. another good one is the one that autocasts "soul trap". ps: there's a perk that makes "bound weapons" do that!

Extra pockets isn't really a convenience perk, not only is it in one of the fastest leveling perk trees once you get the hang of it but once you get the perk which isn't that difficult, you get one hundred extra carry weight, so it makes it pretty worth while, over a perk like dual illusion spells. Even though the illusion school may be good, it is a very difficult tree to level and I don't see as many people needing dual casting those spells over 100 carry weight
@astuteanansi49355 жыл бұрын
Illusion is a piss-easy tree to level! You don't even need to be in combat. All you need to do is spam Muffle for an hour and you're a master illusionist. Meanwhile Pickpocketing runs you the risk of being caught, getting a bounty and having all your stolen goodies taken away. When is that ever worth it? Especially since no matter what you do, you can't increase the chance of successfully stealing an item above 90%

Shadow Warrior always was my favourite Perk as I love playing Assasin. What made me fall in love with it was when I crouched before an enemy that saw me and hit it. Than the kill animation started and it was like this. I stood in front of the enemy, I vanished into shadow clouds and appeared behind them to slit their throat. That was just so fuckn badass, dispersing into shadow to get behind them, the ultimate Assasin.

Nahh fam, the one that gives you +100 carrying capacity is da best
@traeyoungshair10234 жыл бұрын
Alexander Gomes death brand armor with the light armor perks gives you an extra 100 carrying capacity, light armor weighs nothing, and 25% increase in light armor. Just throwing that out there
@brycekrispiez7147 жыл бұрын
I super like the conditioning perk in the heavy armor tree. It effectively makes your heavy armor weigh nothing when worn and doesn’t weigh you down so you run as fast as you would naked. This means that much less stamina is used up on sprinting around

hmm... i had never heard about shadow warrior in a video or guide etc, i had figured that it would only be good for a "stealth" character to hide in the shadows if an enemy spotted you, but knowing that it gives you full stealth for a second to get sneak attacks in is incredible. im gonna get it next time i play, cheers FudgeMuppet

Them are some of the best perks, but they definitely missed the perk that allows you to charge and knock down your enemies with your shield. That perk is a contender for best perk in my opinion especially late in the game if you're facing a tough opponent and need time to heal, you just charge them and heal up. Not to mention since they're knocked down they go through an animation giving you some time to deal significant damage that can turn the battle heavily in your favor. As an added bonus, if you couple it with the Targe of the Unblooded Shield (Pretty sure that's the name) you deal a some damage with the charge due to the bleeding enchantment the shield has. It seems like an underrated ability to me and I can understand why, seeing as using stealth or high level magic is op as hell, but if you are playing purely a one hand and shield player or just looking for an incredibly fun use of Skyrim's mechanics this is the perk for you. When I first acquired it and used it, it was literally the most fun I've ever had playing the game and very useful for me whenever I I'm in a tight spot. I would say to get your block skill up to 80 or above as that optimizes the perk, but that does require grinding that I'm personally ok with, yet I do know a lot of other players don't like to grind an extensive amount. Just a little tidbit of info, cause it's definitely not a best perk, but if used right and if used at all it really feels like it with the way you just run through your enemies like a bull. (No I'm not part of Fudge Muppet's team. I've just played this game thousands of times on almost every console it came out on 😂)
@qwertyuiop20106 жыл бұрын
This list is bias, its not the best perks, its the perks that you think is best since a lot of it is useless to people who dont do magic. Now a perk like 20+ inventory space is unbias since anyone can use it with any build, so its a better perk.

extra pockets is quite nice just difficult to earn because the annoying low carry capacity, as for the atronauch perk is nice but you require so much alteration spell use to get which is difficult considering destruction and restoration are more frequently used then alteration, though takes forever to get necromage

Imo, the best perk combo for Heavy-armor users: "Conditioning" + "Extra Effect" = A heavy armor that has "Stead stone" and "Tower Stone". Heavy armors have a slightly different enchantment on Head, Chest, Gloves and Boots. You can get 85% magic resistance easily by doing gift of mara and combining it with either one of these: Shield/Breton/alteration. Combine "Atronach" w/ "Atronach Stone" and you get your first level of defense for a chance of 80% to nullify magic attacks.
@rtyuik75 жыл бұрын
my suggestion for a Useful Perk is 'Shield Runner' or whatever its called (under Block: "allows you to move faster while raising your shield")...sure, its great to not be slowed down by holding your Block up, but the REAL benefit is while youre sneaking...ysee, Sneak-walking is slower than Normal-walking...Block-walking is also slower than Normal-walking...but with this perk, raising your shield will let you move at Normal Speed, whether or not youre Sneaking... so basically, if youre on your 15th playthrough and you have to get through Bleak Falls Barrow once again, you can stay Sneaked amongst the draugr and bandits, but still move through that dungeon at a decent pace...just drop your guard before sneak-attacking the clueless victim, because otherwise youll shield-bash them which doesnt do much damage and makes them more alert towards where you are...

How to have an army in Skyrim: - Get a regular follower, like Lydia or J'zargo - Keep Delphine and Esbern during the quest where they follow you - Keep Serana - Get Katria in Lost to the Ages and keep her as a quest follower (leave during the tonal lock) - Get Brother Verulus - Get a dog - Get the Twin Souls perk You now have a permanent army of 9. It becomes 10 when Esbern summons a flame atronach, and 11 when Serana raises a dead dude. If you give your regular follower a summoning staff, then you can have 12 followers and you are basically Jesus (but not really because that would be blasphemy and blasphemy is a sin). You can instead sacrifice Katria and get the Aetherium Crown with the Ritual Stone, allowing you to keep a group of dead idiots. Because they don't disintegrate, you can just use the Ritual Stone power again and get them back.

Sweep is a very underrated perk imo. Not only can you hit multiple enemies but if you have the Bloodskal Blade you start to feel like Sauron during the war of the ring with his massive mace.
