the best way I've found to keep Isobel alive is utilizing a wizard with the arcane lock spell and a battle master fighter. Round 1 you would have the wizard use arcane lock on the main double doors into the room and have your battle master use their superiority die to make Marcus prone if you have more combatants or disarm him if the initiative if bad. The idea is that you kill Marcus on round 1 or 2 and have arcane lock cast on all three doors by round three. A cleric with sanctuary is always welcome for a way to make Isobel safe for at least 1 turn, but I've found a fighter/paladin/barbarian can 1 turn or 2 turn Marcus and the 1 winged horror while your wizard makes sure no reinforcements show u. Keep wizard and Isobel trapped in room while everyone else helps Jaheira and the Harpers. Worked for me every time on honor mode (3/3) and saved every merchant and important NPC.

The flying ghouls are also immune to abyss beckoner gloves aura so they resist every element but psychic if you stand near them.

Isobel fight can be done easier if you block the doors with crates, that prevents the winged horrours from entering the room, making it highly unlikely that isobel dies

i also started a solo necromancer run due to your first video. what helped me a lot in the isobel fight against this flaming fist dude was the banishment spell, you have a 85 percent chance to remove him for 2 turns and kill all the other mobs with your undead in that time. did you use the headgear from baltazaahr though?

You can do that, definitely a very good strategy. I don't use Balthazar's headgear, because I find summons to be a very unreliable source of dmg. Mainly because off their low hit chance. against stronger enemies. Therefore I just prefer to increase the stats of my own character. Also Balthazar's headgear has very limit range and most of the time my summons stand far away from me.

Warum hast Du im Endkampf bei Anwendung der Disintegrate Schriftrolle eine Trefferwahrscheinlichkeit von 80%? Ich komme da immer nur auf 45%. Und selbst mit dem Kampfmagiertrank komm ich auf Max 60%.

Wegen meiner Ausrüstung. Meine komplette Ausrüstung ist darauf ausgelegt mein Spell Save DC so hoch wie möglich zu pushen. Und dann halt natürlich noch den Trank oben drauf.

@@hitman5422 hmm, dann könnte es an dem patch liegen. Diese Aufnahmen sind noch von Patch 5 und in Patch 6 wurde der Kampf gegen Ketheric und Myrkul schwerer gemacht.

Denying urself magic missile is impressive - I really think you’ve done a great run and you shouldn’t doubt any of ur strategies as “cheesing it” as it seems pretty fair to me. To me cheesing it would be with exploits like wall glitches

Didn't you kill the spiders to complete Thay's book of necromancy? It seems good for the necromancer, right?

It's pretty good, yes. Also I'm going to complete the necromancy book in this run, I just didn't fight the spiders because you don't have to. You can simply sneak past them and grab the dark amethyst, and that's exactly what I did.

@@mudieeee For the invisibility potions I buy most of them, most traders sell you 1-2 of them after every inventory reset. For the speed potions I also buy them whenever I can, but most of them I get through crafting, using the hyena ears. Hyena ears you also can buy from traders from time to time, but most of your hyena ear supply you get from killing all the hyenas and gnolls from the first act and the 3 mind controlled gnolls in Moonrise Towers. After that you just have to check all the alchemy traders on a regular basis, if you find yourself running low on potions.

What is the full build of your character?

It's going to be a full level 12 wizard with all the necromancy gear and aoe spells, to put it short. If you want more information however you have to wait for the last part. I'll try to finish the video much quicker than this one so hopefully you won't have to wait too long.
