In order to make it even more realistic, and difficult, you should setup the pitching machine distance to mimick pitchers "extension" to the plate(distance from rubber to release point). Degroms extension is 6.96 feet so you'd have to set up the machine around 53' 7"

I'd say the biggest difference would be location, a machine can't really pitch inside twice and then get you away outside on a corner. Still really impressive to be hitting those DeGrom sliders though, sure as hell won't be able to hit those even if they weren't right down the middle.

Craziest part is how loud the machine is when it launches the pitches, granted the pitchers generate it in motion but it is still incredible how much energy is produced by an elite MLB pitcher's arm. Like fucking NUTS.

An honorable mention the ball you hit to rc would have been out of the new dimensions. You've got the old citi field up there. Monster of a ballpark. I kind of wish they still had it. I think DeGrom and now Scherzer would still be pitching. I know it's mad flaky of me to say that but look at the evidence. Also I belive this is what happend to Matt Harvey. Guys over pitching to compensate for the smaller dimensions. Sorry I'm a Mets fan. A little irritated about it. But you should be stoked!
