Same issue. But I think its more related to being an introvert

When I lived in America I never spent any weekends with desis because I had nothing in common with them. I had a race car and I used to track it on weekends as competitive racing or went off-roading in my Jeep. When my desi uncles found out about my hobbies they commented that I am so immature. So you can understand their level of intelligence. Their level of maturity was watching Geo news.

I live in the EU and love the gym, exploring cafes, eating healthy, and chatting with locals. But whenever I meet fellow Pakistanis, it often turns into complaints, gossip, and negativity. The use of abusive words, lack of dressing sense, and poor communication make me prefer keeping my distance. Staying away feels better.

It's easier said than done for the introverts. Spending even half an hour with others just drains my soul!

You're right. Waisi to muslim ummat muslim ummat kartay rehtay hain par look at Pakistanis when they go elsewhere they hardly interact with other communities including muslims of other countries. They all just form small communities of their own and stay near each other. And yeah, we got not hobby. Even in the wider subcontinent this is the case. Everyone has time for online fights and arguments, making memes, social media etc, watching sports, discussing politics. When I went to the UK for the first time, my dad used to ask me what do Brits think about Brexit, I told him no one really cares about these things. They just move on with life. And yes, it's pointless discussing all of this unless we can really make a change to policies. All we need to know is how policies affect us. So reading/ listening to the headlines or a summary of the news should be enough
