Same think I said to my father, don't watch TV news they aren't telling you anything. My farther is a farmer he doesn't know social media, most of all villagers. He said come home for voting & give vote to Modi. And I was like ok but why? And he has no clue. Have you ever heard news channels talking about farmers suicide, cooking oil, petrol, milk, medicine, gas? I asked him to compare the old prices and new. My papa has no answer. It's all about the information he sinking.

Farmers Suicide rate came down from 7.1 in 2001 to 3.6 in 2018. I cannot find the later data. Milk prices increased only Rs 4 in our area in last 10 years. Cooking oil prices are ok according to today's average earning. I think overall inflation is ok and is 4.8% and is with in range of RBI's 4 to 6% range ( needed for correct inflation and good GDP growth).
