Brandon Tenold actually had a couple clips of the pronounciation of "Ghidorah" in his "Godzilla vs King Ghidorah" video (time 1:45 start) and in multiple different movies, they all pronounce it differently. So the answer to "how do you pronounce Ghidorah?" can always be "get fucked" if you want.

I feel like in the Godzilla universe since different mythological figures like Methuselah, Quetzalcoatl and Camazotz exist, there’d be religious groups who would try to find their mythological gods to prove their existence. I’m sure there are Kaiju out there that humans interpreted as different gods. Maybe the Greeks thought Ghidorah was Zeus, or Godzilla was Poseidon. Who knows. I feel like that could be a cool concept for a movie if explored further.

I don't remember which one, but in one of the movies Ghidora WAS Orochi, but the explanation they gave was that it hadn't had enough time to regenerate more than three heads. It was the one where Ghidora was a guardian spirit and Godzilla was an amalgamation of the souls of Japanese soldiers killed in WWII.

I'd argue King of the Monsters Ghidora has the potential to be scarier than the older one, if only because he could have commanded the Earth's entire monster population at one point. You probably all ready know this, but not only is Godzilla an allegory for nuclear destruction, but it was heavily inspired by the Castle Bravo test that went horribly wring in the South Pacific. That's the test where America thought the yield of the bomb would be 5 megatons, when it was actually 15 megatons. The Japanese fishing vessel Lucky Dragon wound up covered in fallout and when they got back to Japan there was a huge uproar from the country and government. The the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were influences, Castle Bravo was the main influence for Godzilla. It also tells you a lot about the cultures that in America a nuclear accident creates superheroes, and in Japan it creates monsters.

4:55 there is is an answer to that. In the comics Godzilla dies and ends up in hell where he then proceeds to eat every demon he encounters including Lucifer. God himself opens the gates of heaven, asks Godzilla to become his strongest angel, and Godzilla answers by firing a full powered atomic breath into God's face killing him. Which then results in Godzilla becoming the new God of Heaven and the angels try to praise him only for Godzilla to eat every angel and then walk back into hell looking for the exit back to earth. The comic is called Godzilla Goes to Hell and it's barely six issues.
