Put them in Mechanicus 3, it'd suit really well from what has been shown of Mechanicus 2 making the Necrons playable. And after the novel Day of Ascension GSC vs Mechanicus would be a great matchup.

I find think what makes Tyranids more unique compared to most alien locust swarm archetypes in sci-fi is the fact they are clearly the most competent and strategically minded military force in the setting. A Tyranid hive-mind doesn't just bum rush you, they'll attack your souls, your minds, your means of communication and travel, undermine your very genetics... In a setting where even the "strategic geniuses" tend to resort to hitting things very hard with a big stick there's something so appealing about an enemy that is so insidiously effective.

Huge fan of the Genestealer Cults, can't wait for more content on them. I would love to see more lore with them as viewpoint characters and maybe mix things up a bit outside of their typical MO. It would add a freshness to a faction that could be more than it's usually presented. Regardless they're a lot of fun and I'm excited for more.

(Where are all the comments!? Rise up, comrades!) If we can't have Astra Militarum in most detachments, please GW, at least give us a 40k datasheet (into Codex GSC) for the new Brood Brothers Kill Team, reflecting that box's wargear! Then we have an excuse to buy multiple boxes!

I don't play Genestealers, but I have to say the way that footage of the Cults are presented more as found footage actually helps build the horror of the cult. While most other Faction Focuses present their threat in broad daylight, this one emphasizes the more sublte, secretive nature of the cults that one can only speculate about.

Genestealer Cults are my favorite faction from 40K. It's tragic that they lose whether the rebellion wins or fails. They remind me of the Flesh-Eater Courts from Age of Sigmar (whose lore, not coincidentally, one of the best in that setting).

If I could change one thing about 40k lore it would be to make the Genestealers a seperate faction. I hate the fact that they are basically just fodder for the Nids and nothing they do on an individual level has any meaning because they're just going to get eaten by the "sTaR cHiLdReN". Also, I don't play Genestealer Cults.
