Just started playing Eve and this video was super useful as a lot of other videos are outdated or expected new players to understand everything. See you out there but please don't kill "Octarine I" if you see me :)

Something interesting I discovered while trying Faction Warfare as a Minmatar Alpha Clone is that once you are in the Tribal Liberation Force and hostile to Amarr systems, you can still enter Ammatar Mandate space without triggering the hostile message. I've been using this area to stage attacks on FW sites in Raa while supplying anything from Rens, just a few jumps away. It feels like quite the newbie-friendly sweet spot for FW.

For players like me who just wanted to get into factional warfare, most of the information prior to 23:00 is self explanatory for players who have played for a little bit Awesome video

piece of advice: if anyone is doing prefer shortest route, instead of pressing "jump", press "warp to within 0" and then jump when in low security space. it greatly decreases your chance of getting ganked, because you don't have that time flying from the point you warped to the gate.

That helped, thanks. Kinda sad to see there's not many views in making EVE content.

That was extremely well done... I was on the fence for doing FW or Low Sec Belt Ratting for LS fun and decided FW would be boring as compared (sitting for 10minutes) , although the LP to ISK rate seems to be more profitable than belt ratting.

hey some advice about the 1m sp from reference code. a person i knew gave this game a try but didnt know what to put the sp in (i helped him). maybe you could tell the new players what they want to put the 1m sp in for the video. in this case since you are doing faction warfare, should have mention to put it in amarr frig and laser turrets etc.

A few things not mentioned here that could lead a potential new player into death. Here are my added tips, wanted or not. 1. Set to safest if going to Hek, as your shortest route will go through Rancor and there are potential smart bombers/campers that will 1 shot you before you get to PVP. So avoid Rancor or set to safest. 2. Those fits in the community are for alpha pilots and for someone who is a day 1 pilot If you used a friend invite, and got a free 1M SP, you could easily top out one of the frigates and mods for it. Why not spend 11M and get a ship that has a chance to win vs a 4-5M ship that will surely lose unless engaged against another player who is fitting their ship the same way?? ALso, those community fittings are garbage 99% of the time too. Get yourself used to using zkillboard and eve workbench, then learn pyfa and start making your own fittings, heck, start with pyfa, and really learn about pvp intricacies of how to fit ships and play psychological warfare by fitting ships unconventionally to catch your opponent off guard.

Back to Eve after years of being away and this is a great guide to FW. I like how you incorporate the tips on scanning and opening the sites to confuse possible hostiles coming into the system. Only thing is I didn't see the mil SP show up on the new account or character. Is there a trick to getting that?
@blayknight70133 жыл бұрын
Go to unclaimed items and it should be there. Should be on the left of your screen. You may have already redeemed it to a station. So check your personal assets tab and you should be able to see any and all stations that you have items in and it might be stashed in a station somewhere without you realizing you claimed it. Hope that helps bro

@DisownedHero3 жыл бұрын
Hay Wooly, A capsuleers (players) race does not really affect the game at all. players are able to join any player owned corp they like regardless the races of the people who created it or who are running it. Infact you can be minmitar and join the FW NPC corp to fight along side Amarr NPC's if you wish :) You can join any player corp you like and fight on behalf of any NPC faction you like regardless of your chosen race when creating a charictor

@1:31 Jita to Amarr is 9 jumps. When I do the same thing in March 2021 is is approx 30 jumps. Does the map change?
@DisownedHero3 жыл бұрын
Hi Russell. No the map doesnt change as much. However when the triglavians decided to start taking over systems one of the systems on that 9 jump route dropped below 0.5 sec status meaning its no longer safe to simply haul stuff through. If you have your route set to safest it will avoid that system but yeah it makes the trip ALOT longer. TBH that system is always camped so if your in anything (even a shuttle) your best going around.

Can you actually leave the FW afterwards? To comeback to normal play-style where you can go everywhere ^^ And if you’re at war against Caldaria can you still go to Jita trade hub?

Here is a tip from a person who played EVE for 10 years: never ever listen to people who try to lure you into doing PvE in EVE. People do it to have more victims to hunt down, to trick you into working for the ingame economy or just to get an ego boost on youtube or reddit. They never do it to help you have a fun evening. Avoid those people like fire. To have fun with FW: - There is another youtuber, Blights Wretch, who did a video on FW recently. He is very active in Amarr / Minmatar FW as a solo player and FC. Watch that instead. - Check EVE University wiki for more detailed information (on FW, ship mechanics, fits, pvp in general) - Check evefrigates.blogspot.com to understand lowsec solo frigate meta (you will be flying a destroyer when you start, but it come in handy when you switch to frigates). PvE in EVE, even in lowsec, is having another job after you are done with your day job, except you you can't put it on CV, admit to friends you do it, and you get paid with dirt.
