In the first trick, he doesn't need two bills with similar numbers, just use a fake banknote identical to the first one. In fact, it burns instantly, as if it were made of flash paper (a type of paper used in magic tricks) and not regular banknote paper.

The only one that doesn't make sense is the hole through the aquarium trick. When one puts their hand through the hole with the double pane glass aligned , water would flow out through this hole (paper will not hold the water back).

They claim it was done with a foot lever which moved the panes up to cover the hole, but I work with aquariums and sealing them from water leakage is very difficult.

The water completely fills the tank which creates a vacuum so there is some leakage but you must be fast

The example of the copperfield table and the one he used is different. the table doesn’t look obviously blocked off at the bottom as the example shows. Copperfields trick looks more sophisticated.

At the 15:55 mark, I think he did burn the folded outside of the real card, but he put the fire out so quickly that it never burned through to the inside surface of the card. So if he had accidentally turned the card over you would have seen the burnt side.

I once saw a tiger appear in an empty cage onstage, at almost audience eye level, at a magic show in Buena Park, California. I was at the front center table, only 10 feet from the cage and still have no explanation. I would live to know how this was done.

the disappearing ball trick (4:23) uses an ability of our brain to complete a move in a normal way, e.g. it "sees" the ball wandering into the right hand, although the ball wasn´t really thrown: it is logical to assume it is in the right hand, although it isn´t. so it didn´t trick outthe eye, but rather the brain. (sorry if the words aren´t 100% correct, as i am not a native english speaker)

I enjoyed just hearing how a rabbit is pulled out of a hat. In 1994, my family stopped to see a magician act selling store products at a magician store at Caesars palace outisde a store with a large crowd gathered. MY daughter volunteerd and was picked to think hard about 3 numbers in her head. She wrote her numbers down next to me and they matched the 3 card numbers turned over on his table. I thought the magician must have had ESP. .

I remember seeing the hand through the glass trick and instantly knowing what was done. The obvious thing is that you can't put your hand through glass, so the glass has to move. You could see that there was enough space above and below to move the glass up and down.

except for, I'm almost positive the explanation they gave is absolutely wrong. tank of water so you have hole in the glass and slide the glass around, and use paper towel to hide the hole, and somehow keep the water from gushing out of that hole.

@@user-fp3ds7gd2i Ya, it's a bit more complicated than that. There is something covering the hole that keeps the water in until he pushes his hand through. If you watch closely you can see some water come out just as he pushes his hand through and when he pulls it back out.
