thank you for posting such a detailed set of images. I grew up on the Mtn up behind the mall, sommerset. I went to Newport High, I worked at Pietros pizza and Taco Bell in 87-88. ahh the memories!

I don't remember you at taco bell. I worked there after March of 1988-July 90. Guy that interviewed me was African American.

Man rad vid I love seeing malls in the 80s! I remember shopping at Mervyns as a little kid in the like 90 but the alderwood mall.

J the Batchelor same here. Alderwood was my main location. That mall is still thriving. No dead malls in wa.

Stupid bankruptcy killed this awesome business. Mervyn's was my favorite store. I used to go there a lot back in the day. R.I.P. Mervyn's 1949 - 2008
