When an asteroid hits, it first hits the building, then the platform. So walls *can* stop asteroids with their HP, which then needs to be repaired. The platform hub is the updated graphics compared to the concept art (See FFF-381), but not updated since. The linked video about the splatting explains it quite well, it's just a 3 minute video. We have seen sulfur on the belts in FFF-406 and we see that the belt gets items from a crusher. That crusher gets *something* from a sushi belt with asteroid fragments, possibly waiting for a fragment type we haven't seen.

16:30 - I think for most players the experience/effect you're talking about will be mitigated by the fact that it'll be a new set of designs that are needed to do things on a space platform -- you won't have blueprints for it, so you'll have to come up with new designs, and that will feel like being "back in the stone age", so to speak. IMHO / in my best estimation. 25:28 - ok, yeah, I feel ya on this aspect. So... I do maybe see it as a bit of the problem you were talking about, just less intensely than you seem to think??
