I noticed at 9:45 you begin placing a lot of belts. You're not using the auto-turn-direction feature built into Factorio. While you're holding click down to drag and place belts, you can hover your mouse in the direction you want the belt to turn and hit R. This will place new belts in the new 90 degree direction based on where your mouse cursor is. As I understand it, you never really have to rotate belts. Just hold click, point where you want the belts to go, and hit R while holding mouse click.

You know modules are really expensive and t3 modules really should be used with beacons. The standard is to have productivity in the building boosted by speed in beacons. That is the most efficient, but even if you go with only speed a module in a beaon while halved for being in a beacon can affect 8 buildings, so it's as if is applied 4 times instead of once. With a standard beacon line (speed + productivity) you only need 13 smelters to fill a blue belt with iron/copper plate.

if you want to remove a blueprint instead of right clicking it just throw a deconstruction blueprint over it and it'll all disappear (sorry for the comment on the old vid hopefully this gets to you)

That does look super useful! but I wanted this playthrough to be vanilla (besides the clock) When im playing with mods i usually lean more toward the nanobots mod, as i feel its a tad more balanced

Nope! Upload schedule is already stable for this series Every Sunday I keep trying to make longer episodes, but I don't like leaving stuff that I find uninteresting in the videos, so they end up a lot shorter than they could be
