Trains are amazing but can be a huge pain in the ass lol. If you ever have problems with deadlocks in your train junctions anywhere, then you could do what I do because it works and it's simple enough for me to understand. If there is a train junction, all signals for a train coming into the junction will be chain signals until they exit, which is a rail signal, I like to think about it almost as right-of-way. I have a pretty busy train network with 125 trains so you can imagine the shit I've needed to do with these forsaken train networks.

Editing the final video right now, so i can tell you that the final base ended up with 172 trains and 521 stations lol I'm surprised how few traffic jams there were in total, the intersections were designed well by the blueprint book maker, and the only times i ended up with problems was when i parked the artillery train in the middle of the base, or bad signals on train stations

I know this is an older series but I'm curious why you use Speed Modules more or less exclusively? Production for intermediates decreases input demand and increases output supply - and then Speed Mod with Beacons and you end up overall with much more compact and higher throughput cells in a base like this

I'm trying to reach 1 million green circuits, so using productivity modules would decrease my circuit consumption, therefore the base would need to be larger to compensate So I used speed modules to keep the base smaller

@@DocJade I get you, but surely using Prod Mods on say, copper wire or gears, or even things like plates would make sense. And then use speed on the consumption side, like for Red and Blue circuits. Anyway, I enjoyed the series.
